Disney transport from Contemporary to Port Canaveral

We are staying at CR a few days before our cruise and signed up to take the Disney bus from CR to the port. Does anyone have an idea around what time pickup would be? I saw online that the earliest would be 11am. Trying to figure out if we have time for anything that morning before the bus takes us to the cruise. Also, how early does embarkation start? I don't want to be the last group getting on the cruise but don't think we have a choice about when we arrive since we are taking the bus. Thank you!

You won’t find out what time your bus picks up until the night before. You will receive a letter in your room. It depends on how many people staying at your hotel. It may make stops at other resorts. It usually is around 11am.
At Port Canaveral boarding usually starts 11:15-11:30. They usually have everyone waiting boarded 12:15-12:30 and go to “open boarding” meaning you check in and walk on.
It’s a little over an hour drive from WDW to Port Canaveral so by the time you check in there should be little or no line. If there is a line you will be given a boarding number when you check in.

When we did the Mikey Bus at CR we were asked to be in the Loby at 10:15-10:30 For 11:00 departure
They will go through everyone’s paperwork. It took at lot longer than I thought it would.
