Disney Train and Cinderella Castle Toys

I fell in love with the castle on our trip last January and had it shipped from our resort gift shop (I believe all of the gift shops carry it) to home. It was here when we got home, so the service was great. HOWEVER, the castle was a HUGE disappointment. I have two very gentle little girls who absolutely cherish this castle and would never play rough with it. Our stairs are broken, our cinderella's carriage is broken, and the list goes on and on. The little princesses are their favorite part and they do put the princesses inside the castle to play but as for the accessories, they've hardly been touched (they are heart broken everytime they bring me another piece to fix). They use the princesses and princes inside their fisher price dollhouse. :~)

I have to chime in here and agree.. I too have the castle, bought it in 2004, lugged it home on the plane.. and my dd played with it everyday..
That being said, i also was VERY disappointed with the quality of this!! I think the plastic is too thin in certian areas, causing it to crack easily. For those that just got it, beware, it may seem great..lol.. but after a few months, look out! LOL
Ours seems like there is something broken on it everywhere you look..It also is broken at the seams, which means it won't stay together if you try to pick it up.. it is just very fragile.
It really stinks, cuz i was in love with this when i bought it.. and i think it is a beautiful toy, just not practical. I am trying to superglue it and clean it up, and probably just have my dd keep it as a display piece.

I am hoping to buy her another piece this yr.. i know..why bother? But, When i saw that pic that someone had posted about their house all decorated in the WDW rides/hotels for Christmastime, it looked so great, i want to do that for my dd.
So, i will probably also be buying the monerail this yr (although i have heard that is poorly made too!) but, i will have to stress for her to really be gentle with it.. (and btw, she is not a rough doll house player!) LOL.
