Did any of you get an extra room and did they give a discount . What resort did you get. Did you request certain airline and flights.

I just got my email confirmation that they will begin planning our trip. I am not a very patient person when it comes to things like this. I hope it's not to long of a wait. Now to get my list of ADRs going.

AKL with Savanah view was my first choice, Poly was my second. I live 110 miles away so I didn't have to worry about airlines.

Wow that was quick! I got mine in a few days after you, I'm not expecting it that quickly but I would love it if it came. I'm wondering if they are booking based on when the trip is or on the order they received the questionnaire.

We got out final itinerary on Wednesday. Before that there was much back and forth via email about double checking questionnaire information and confirming flights. We ended up getting our questionnaire in the mail on March 5th. We did a day or two of emailing back and forth since we had a few questions. March 11th we were sent a proposed itinerary which we confirmed along with passenger information, etc. March 13th they sent us the itinerary and flight confirmation numbers and information on how to catch the shuttle, etc.

None of the emails they sent me were on a weekend.

Have you heard anything back at all after submitting your questionnaire?

I haven't heard anything, probably because we aren't going until October. It's nice to hear they wanted your input, we have requested a split stay and red eye flights so we aren't wasting precious park time flying I got confirmation they received my questionnaire in on march 8th. So maybe soon but I'm not holding my breath.

I have a request from an American, I would like a copy of the winners list but I am in Canada. I can send a self addressed stamped envelope but it will have Canadian postage, I'm not sure usps would like that to much. I would be so great full if someone could send the envelope for me from the US, I can PayPal the cost of postage. Let me know if anyone can help me out.

I was one of the OMDD winners from last year and you guys are in the same position we were a year ago. Going crazy wanting to plan our trips but waiting on the Disney reps to get back to you.

We finally figured out that for the most part, they book the trips in order of when you want to take them. The people who weren't taking their trips until the late fall or early this year had to wait several months before they found out anything.

Just to give you a heads up, most of us didn't find out where our rooms would be located until we checked in.

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. There were only three options anyway and they all looked great we just thought that hotel was especially neat so we put that down under the special requests section. As for airport we put the nearest one to us as per the questionnaire but did not indicate a preference for airline.

I feel much more settled now that I have sent in my paperwork. I think because I "know" we are going early October, the flights and times worry me a little bit but we will make it work. I'm also curious about the price of extra nights, do you remember when you guys found out the rate? The rate will determine where we spend our extra nights.

They require us to have our recreational activities submitted to them by tomorrow, yet they are not returning calls or emails. The one email I did get back had nothing to do with what I asked about. They are not very accessible.

Glad you were able to get a list. I wouldn't worry too much about not getting your first choice of dates. I think all of us last year got our first choice, as long as we didn't choose the blackout dates.

We all had the same frustrations last year. Lots of waiting, phone calls, and unanswered e-mails. Good luck. I know frustrating it can be.

I have a question about the 500 dollar gift card for recreational activitys. Do they just give a disney gift card that you can use just about anywhere or does the 500 have to be used on recreatio which i think would be hard to do if you do not use it all can you use it on another trip and how about the shopping spree is that a gift card you can use on food etc. thanks

For the OMDD winners, we were all given Disney gift cards. Most of us chose the Downtown Disney shopping spree, but there is no such thing as DTD gift cards or anything. The nice thing is that you can use the gift cards almost anywhere. Most of us just charged everything to our rooms then used the gift cards to pay it off. I know that quite a few of us were able to save a lot of our gift cards to use on our next Disney trip, but we were given $1500.
