Hello! My family is planning a trip to WDW in October. I am wondering where is the best place to purchase Disney tickets? Last year I bought them from a local Disney store but I am beginning to wonder if I could find a better deal online? Also, I have been reading about the Halloween party (MNSSHP) that takes place in October. Where would tickets for this be purchased? Thanks in advance for any advice/information! This board has been such a help to me!

you can go to mousesavers.com and look there for information on discount tickets. They don't sell tickets,just have information about them.
There is a site called ticketmania.com that sells discount tickets. You should try there.

Mickeys NSSHP tickets can be bought over the phone or online right now at Disneyworld.com. Just click on the special events section of the tickets. You can also purchase them when you arrive in October but if you know for sure you are going then you should get them now because you can buy them cheaper if you purchase them in advance. Just a note though, they are non-refundable.
