Hey there! We purchased 5 day park hopper tickets to Disney and have decided now that that we would rather only go four days.

Is there anyway we can return just one ticket? or if we dont use one when we go, would it remain on our account unused? thanks.

i just checked with someone else im pretty sure we cant refund it but is there something that we can do so that we dont lose the money?

Tickets will expire 14 days from first use. As for return, always worth asking. There is only a $10.65 difference between 4 and 5 days.

You don't have 5 individual tickets, so you can't return one ticket. You would actually be exchanging 5 day tickets for 4 day tickets, assuming that it's allowed.

Where did you buy your tickets?

If you bought them from Disney as part of a package, you'll have to pay a $50 fee since you're withing 45 days of your trip.

If you bought them from Undercover Tourist, you can return them as long as you haven't removed them from the plastic or linked them to MDE, but you have to pay a restocking fee; I think it's 10 or 15%.

In either case, it would be cheaper to just eat the cost of that extra day. (Well, unless it's part of a package and there are more than 4 tickets.)

If you make changes to your package with 45 days of your trip, you will be charged $50. They will generally waive the fee if you are upgrading, though.

do i call and downgrade +$50 or can it be done online?

How many tickets do you have because that extra day is only costing you $10.65 per person. If you have to pay the change fee it may be a wash anyway.

Are your tickets part of a room/ticket package or did you buy the tickets separately? The $50 fee only applies if they are part of a package. If they were separate, you typically can't reduce days.

You'd be paying $50 in order to get a refund of about $10 per ticket. Doesn't make any sense to me.

okay this all makes sense now
i bought 5 park hoppers separately from my room but now its all linked up.

we're just going to throw away the 5th day (such a shame-wish we could use it).
