Disney Tickets in Canadian Funds???

For you info...

For a 7-Day Park Hopper MYW Adult.

Flight Centre - $586 CDN - from website (conversion done, pay in CDN)
Expedia.ca - $559.41 CDN (conversion done, Pay in CDN)
Parksavers - $537.92 CDN (Billed through Paypal in USD - 2.5% conversion through Paypal)
UndercoverTourist - $592.98 CDN (Billed in USD but can pay with CDN credit Card + cc conversion fee applies according to your card - typically 2.5% )
Through Disneyworld.com - $616.16 CDN (Billed in USD but can pay with CDN Credit Card + conversion fees apply according to your card - typically 2.5%)
CAA not sure didn't get a quote, can pay in CDN but a conversion fee may be applied during the conversion from USD
Convention / Meeting passes - usually 10% off Disneyworld.com prices in USD - but restrictions on when to use and non-refundable (i.e if trip cancelled, can't use passes another time)

I think the Expedia and Parksavers (which is through Expedia also I believe) have a special with the 7 days so the same savings may not apply to other passes)

Other difference include the fact that Undercovertourist passes can be refunded (-5% charge) within 1 year. Otherwise, usually non-refundable and may have expiry.

Thanks for this information, I always wonder what I'll end up with when I order something in U.S. $. It's just nice to know for sure what I'm paying. Never heard of parksavers before.

I too have not heard of Parksavers, legit? Also if paying by paypal and I have a US paypal, no extra fees? Do they ship to Can?

We need to get an AP as we are going in April and oct. I am debating getting a 10 day pass through Air Canada vacations and upgrading to a gold AP in April when we get there (we are DVC members) because based on my math we will save $60 each Canadian... But I haven't hit the button yet because I keep thinking it must be too good to be true or something will happen and it won't work anymore....not to mention the huge hit on the bank account haha!

Park savers looks awesome, has anyone actually USED it? Is it legit/trusted/safe?

I just bought mine yesterday and received the tickets by email today. Paid via PayPal billed to my no foreign exchange m/c. Did get a call from my credit card company checking authenticity of the transaction. Haven't had a chance to link it up to my MDE which I will try tonight.

Just an update. Bought tickets through parksavers.com. Received the Expedia vouchers via email within 24 hours. You can take those vouchers directly to window to exchange for tickets at Disney or wait for a confirmation email from them that will be a forwarded confirmation from Expedia with the Confirmation Numbers (Ticket IDs) that you can link to MDE right away. Worked without a problem.

In addition, purchased my Universal Orlando 2 Day P2P + 1 Free Day tickets through Orlando Ticket Connection. Why? UT was good pricing (with mousesavers $0.90 savings) but did not have option to pay with Paypal (where I had USD in balance from other transactions). Orlandoticketconnection.com was the same price but with option to use paypal. Customer service through the website was extraordinary; had to make sure my tickets were not the 2Day + 1 Free Tickets that expire May 31, they said that the pricing was for those tickets ; therefore the same as UT for the same tickets but she offered to change them to 3day tickets without extra charge. Tickets were E-tickets that you will take directly to the gate for entry (smartphone or printout) and were available right away.

So I do recommend parksavers.com and orlandoticketconnection.com as viable options for ticket sales.

We are looking forward to it and trying to find the balance of not feeling like we are missing anything big

I thought about that too going in Oct, and then prolly gonna wait til star wars and toy story lands are complete to come back. but havent been since 2014 when the hub and downtown disney were getting their refurbs. Thinking about doing one of the RunDisney events next Jan...
