my sister (12) and me (16) are painting our bathroom and redoing it. well the whole bathroom we decided is going to be entirely lilo and stitch. we were just curious if anyone else had any disney themed rooms in there house? have any pictures? maybe give us some ideas. so far the bathroom is half painted leap frog green (disney paints from bair paints!) and i think nderwater blue (yet again disney paints) half and half... lilo is painted in a dress hulaing and stitch is sitting on the ground playng the guitar...we want to "disney-ify" it more...so if you guys can post pictures of your disney rooms, not necessarily lilo and stitch, that be great! :goodvibes

Thanks Don't forget to post some Pics when you get done.

We have a Mickey bathroom but I don't have any pictures to post.
We had ordered just about everything from the Scattered Mickey collection.
It looks terrific.

We are presently finishing our basement (it's taking FOREVER) but it will be done totally Disney. We've already ordered & received many things from Disneyshopping.com - Mickey coffee table, mirrors, whiteboards, couch pillows, blanket throws, doormats,.

The bathroom off of this room will be Nemo themed.
From Home Depot we ordered & received a Disney door.
We got Mickey on one side (this side will face into the Family room) & Nemo on the other (this side will face into the bathroom).

I believe Home Depot also had a Tink door you could order but the last time I checked they had put a "STOP" on these doors for a while (something about copyright issues) & would start selling them again soon.

These doors are beautiful....you should look into them!!

I just looked at the doors on home depot's website. I want a Mickey one.

I have a "Disney Hall way"... I have Aeriel veiws of MK and EPCOT, Fantasmic Poster, the Poster in TMT Martins signature, Park maps, a picture of the Splash Mountain sign hanging in the hall way, pictures of alll the "Mountains" (minus EE) a few mickey pictures and posters, and some scattered pictures from my last trip.

I have a Mickey themed kitchen, and my dd has a princess bedroom, complete with a beautiful mural that a friend of mine painted on the wall with Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White. Maybe I'll post some pics after we clean up a little.... ;) :rolleyes1

My DD's room is done like the rooms at the Contemporary Resort, that is the old style. She has the comforter, chair, night stand, ect. However it is not complete yet. I was attempting to do the finishing touches such as paint and misc decorations when the oldest moved out and now DD wants to change rooms. So, I now have to regroup.

Always wanted Disney bedroom or bath maybe DD's old room? Haven't decided what we are doing with it yet.

Gone Disney

We recently moved into a new home and we're "Disney-Theming" the most of the house!

Each of the 4 bedrooms will be themed as a different resort. We've got one of the guest rooms done as a "Boardwalk/Old Key West" theme. The other bedrooms are going to be Fort Wilderness and Animal Kingdom Lodge themed. We haven't decided on the master, yet.

Our library is going to be themed like the "Adventurers Club". Our sitting room and dining room is Caribbean Beach inspired.

We're still debating on the theming of the Great Room and my office. I was thinking of Saratoga Springs for the office.

Right now, everything's a mess. The only room we have 90% complete is Old Key West. We're about 70% done with the sitting room and dining room (Caribbean Beach inspired). After that is The Adventurers Club Library (only about 20% complete).

It's taking a LOT of work and spare time, but it's SO going to be worth it when we're done!

Well right now all of my Disney things are all packed up, as we are going to be moving out of state at the end of July and first part of Aug.2006( we are moving to SD). Once we get into our new home, I am going to make a Lilo & Stitch Guest bedroom/fun room and I will also have a Cinderella bedroom!

I have a lot of things already for the Lilo & Stitch room, I found a really cool "Surfboard" light fixture/fan, and when I was in Disney World last I bought the BIG Fig of Lilo, I also have a huge plush of Stitch, Stitch pillows, Lilo & Stitch pins( that I am going to frame in shadow boxes), lot's of Lithos and other pictures and much more!

My ideas that I have for the room so far is to get "fake" palm trees in put them in the room(like 1 or 2) and put white lights on them and mabye even paint some palm trees on to the wall.

DH and I did the kids bathroom in classic Mickey colors. We painted the walls red and did the cabinets in black. We have the scattered Mickey tub mat, shower curtain and hooks, a Mickey trash can and a switch plate. My favorites are the Mickey mirror we got at DTD. It has ears, feet and Mickey's gloves peeking out from either side. I also love the custom blind from 3day blinds that is Mickey in his "O boy!" pose. We have pictures on a disc somewhere... I will try to find and post. :thumbsup2
