Does anyone have their house or a room in your house decorated in any kind of Disney theme? (The tatoo guy's house made me think of this. lol) I'd love to hear about it!

We have a playroom in our basement for our kids, and it's got a Pooh theme right now. But my mom just gave me a Magic Kingdom map from 1979 (it's 3 feet by 2.5 feet) and I think I'm going to slowly change the theme to WDW stuff! :) I'll have the map framed so that will be the focus.

Just wondering what other Disney rooms are out there!::MickeyMo

Our family room is red with blue denim furniture. It is covered with Disney stuff.....photos, art work, ceramics, plush, etc....
We figured the "family" room is a great place for Disney!!!!

Our younger DS's room is Classic Pooh. We have started to collect drawings of the WDW hotels (you can buy them in the gift shops- so far we have BW, YC and Poly) and are planning to frame them and hang them in our toy room/computer room. I like the idea of finding old WDW maps and framing them too! When our younger DS is a bit older and outgrows the Pooh theme, I'm planning on making his room a Mickey Mouse room.

We have pictures and a cookie jar and lots of little stuffed characters around. I just bought some stencils for the laundry room too.

we have a Disney family room ( I have that map too but its from 1976 awesome isnt it?)

We have the bottom half of the room painted BRIGHT yellow then a mickey border, on either side of the border is a red wooden border and then the top half is painted bright white.
We have Mickeys all over the room and our framed lithographs are everywhere.

I think thats it. One day when its clean I will finally take and post a picture. lol

Well my room is covered in Disney. Posters of the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion and that wonderful self portrait Norman Rockwell knockoff of Mickey drawing walts picture. :)

I have tons of mickey mouse statues and personal WDW memorabilia.

Jungle Josh :)

oh and the kids bathroom is classic pooh. The girls room is princesses.

yikes I just realized that... were Disney Fanatics  :earseek: ;)

My new room in our den is going to be Disney themed :D : :MinnieMo I want to go into a sort of vintage Disney theme. I was thinking about doing one wall striped in two shades of pink, I have some vintage posters from WDW that would be fun.

My DDs(5yr&5mo) share a room so I did it in Disney Princesses. Stupid military housing gave us a 2 bedroom! :( My mom found a disney princess crib set in FL at wal-mart and my older DD has the Disney Store set. On the walls, I got those cardboard displays that videos and dvds are in at the store and cut out the characters (its more unique than border). I also bought those stick ups for the wall they sell and used spray adhesive to stick them to their furniture (dressers and nightstands, etc). I love HGTV, they always give me new ideas!

I dont have a fully decorated Disney room, but there is something Disney in every room.
I have a stained glass Mickey on my kitchen window and a Mickey sink strainer. Our Mickey Waffle maker is on the counter too.
On a shelf in my dining room I have a giant brandy snifter filled with misc Mickey antennae toppers. Plus my curio cabinet is in there with my snow globes and various other memorabilia (not all Disney)
In the living room I have a great pillow I bought at WDW in March.
Several Disney washcloths and a candle holder in the bathroom.
In my room I have the triple self portrait. On my dresser I have several small touches including a mini Mickey umbrella, 2 ID lanyards (Bambi and the castle), animal print Mickey ears, a few pins and I use the Mr Potato Head tea cup as a jewelry holder. DH has the statue of Mickey and the fireman on his dresser in addition to a couple framed photos from our trips.
Sam's room looks like an explosion of the Disney store, LOL. He has a pretty impressive collection of stuffed Mickeys, Mickey beanies and various other plush from the Disney Store and WDW.
He also has posters from each park and a few other prints. We are planning to repaint his room and will add a Mickey border.
I am eventually going to frame all of my lithos and hang them in the hall between the bedrooms.

Our office has 2 display cabinets filled with WDCC pieces. We have 30 pieces displayed! We also have about 3 disney art prints framed and hanging on the walls - we have one that we have not gotten framed yet that will go in there as well.

Once we finish the basement and move the office down there I am going to buy some better display cabinets as well as do more with the Disney Art that we have collected.

The girls playroom is in Disney.. framed Lithographs in there. Both girls also have a Disney Bedroom. Oldest DD is Disney Princess, and the youngest is Tinkerbell.

There was a woman who used to live in Crystal Lake that had her ENTIRE HOUSE done in Disney. She worked for the Disney Store so I'm sure she got a discount to be able to afford it. Even her answering machine would answer in the happy Disney style and would be told to have a "magical day". I know her SIL and she said there was not one room that was not Disney. Her kids beds were piled with Disney stuffed animals. The walls were stenciled and everything. When she went to sell she didn't do any painting or removing any of the Disney stuff and I believe it sold in less than a month. Her husband has now allowed her one room in the new house for Disney and that's it.

We have a few rooms in our house that are Disney themed.

Our nursery room currently being used by our youngest DD who turned 1 on Saturday May 8th is the Pooh / Hundred Acre Wood Theme and is probably the most themed room in our house. We have the crib bedding, valance, stickers on the walls, ceiling fan and stuffed animals, trinkets and treasures, the growth chart and the light switch cover.

DD 4 has a Disney Princess themed room - her bed set, the valance and princess stickers with princess posters on the walls.

Our bathroom downstairs is a Mickey themed bathroom - we have a soap dispenser and a figurine of Mickey and Minniw on the sink, hand towels and bath pillow in the shape of Mickey and we have a Mickey clock.

Our Office and Kitchen is generally Disney themed. The office ha the Mickey desk set with the stapler, tape dispenser, pen holder and staple remover and there are lithographs on the walls and some of our "Magical Moments" certificates are in there. In the kitchen I have the Mickey toaster and teapot and hand towels and magnets on the frige.

Current house: dd's room is princess themed. I even stenciled Cinderella on the walls, plus a border at the top and of course the bedding and curtains. The kids' bathroom is done in Mickey & Minnie mouse, they are stenciled on the walls. And I got a shower curtain, rug and bath accessories too.

New house: the kids will have a play room and it will be Disney themed. We will put pictures up that we have from trips and others we have gotten over the years, like the one of Donald Duck we got from the Fairy Tale Package last year. That's all I've thought of for that room so far. And dd's new room will be the new Ariel bedding from Disney online. I'm sure dd will want to do something in her bathroom too. We don't move until mid-June.
