Disney tattoos?

Not that I am ashamed of my tatoo becuase I love both of the ones I have, but I also made sure I got them in places that I can cover up if needed, so when I am 80 if I don't want people to see them then they will not.

When I asked my dad if I could get a tattoo ( I was only 16 so my mom said I had to ask him) he told me to think of how much I'm going to like in when I'm 80, well I love it now so I'm sure I still will when I'm that old and if other people don't want to see an 80 year old woman with a Tinkerbell on her leg then they can not look.

I am sooo jealous - I would LOVE to get a tattoo, but I'm a bit too chicken sh*t!! It's the whole "permanent" thing that gets me. I'll take a temporary or a henna anyday, but that's as far as I have gone. I do envy all of you. I would love an Ariel one!! But then I think when I am 70 or 80, would I look stupid?? Or maybe just pretty cool

mine is well covered by everything. sometimes i'm jealous of people who have visible ones, because i love looking at tattoos. i feel like they are works of art. in all honesty, i've had mine for 2 months now and i notice it only sometimes (since it's covered 23.5/7). personally i don't really care what it looks like when i'm 80, i care more about what it would look like after i have children though. at 80, i can at least tell people that i had a great life and got to do the things i wanted to!

i actually saw an 80 year old woman on miami ink who wanted her initial as a tattoo on her upper arm. she did this so that in case anything happened to her during a hurricane she would be identified and get back to her family. i thought this was very brave of this woman to do at 80!

You guys are killing me. I am getting a tattoo in about a month...my brother picked a date thinking I will go through with it if there is a date set.

I am debating between something Disney and my astrological sign (Sagittarius).

My mom thinks I should do Disney since it's more appropriate, but I am a Sagiattarius to a tee!

I love whoever posted about doing something tribal with mickey in the middle. Would love to see pics!!!

I am thinking about getting my first tattoo. I am thinking about upper back close to your shoulder but not under a bra strap. I have it picked out I just need to actually do it. I have the picture larger but the original is on my photobucket account. I think you will still get the idea. I want it to represent DH and I since we are both Disney lovers.

These are very cool!!! Looks like I have ideas for my next tatoo!
I got a sorcerer mickey on my ankle last year..... and another non-disney design on my wrist this year.
But.... I was still looking for another design for my other ankle or even the other wrist.
I like the castle one..... but done in a dark purple.

My DH also has a Tigger Tat (among his many)

The DD (19)is the only one that hasn't gotten branded with Disney yet...although she already has 5 non-disneys.

We are a VERY inked family!!


Here are mine and my DHs....a couple need re-coloring, we're working on that too!

My Tigger Tat, which was my very first, and is 10 years old.....it needs re-coloring BADLY!!! On inside of my ankle.

My Angel Eeyore tat....recently been re-colored. Front of leg-next to Tig

My Pooh/Piglet Tat.....they need re-coloring, to fix a few spots, but I LOVE em! Outside leg/back of ankle, between Eeyore and Tigg

My Tat artist is going to do an entire background to incorporate them all, just haven't figured out exactly how I want to do it.

This is my DHs Tigger Tat, on his chest.
It's basically "over his heart", and has his 3 loves incorporated. The Tigger signifies me, The Ladybug-our daughter, and the Airborne symbol-His Army Life.

I still have to get the Ying Yang Mickey head that Jaxpooh has, we had planned to get them done together. She is my BFF. I just can't figure out where to put it!

I've always told everyone that has asked about Tats, to pick the picture you want and the place you want it......wait atLEAST 6 months....if you still want the same thing and place, THEN get it......it doesn't wash off, and if after that long, you still like it, then it's meant to be.

I'm very passionate about Disney, and even when I'm 80, will be proud of my ink, reguardless of how wrinkled it is!!!

I can't WAIT for him to re-color and finish it! Gotta incorporate my Mickey Ying-Yang in there somewhere, though.

I don't have any Disney tat's. However, DH must have at least 30 on his arms, legs, back and side of torso. They are all colour ones and feedback has been very positive. Complete strangers at WDW will stop him and ask to take pictures and speak with him about them.

Some of the ones he has are Steam Boat Willie approx. 12" high (on his torso), Tinker Bell approx. 12" high (on the other side of his torso), Mickey on his back (from belt line to shoulder blades), Cinderella's Castle, Beauty and the Beast, Chip, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Sorcerer's Apprentice, the Headless Horseman, Chip & Dale, Littlest Mermaid, King Triton, Sebastian, Flounder, Captain Hook, Lightning McQueen, Mater, Lucky (one of the dalmations), Lady & the Tramp eating spaghetti, Jasmine, the Canadian flag in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head.

I know I'm forgetting some but these are just some of them.

Went home last night and counted them all - 62!!!
