Disney tattoos?

Thanks guys :) It is still really sore...I can't wait for it to peel/scab. I slept much better last night though:rotfl:

K guys.. WOW That hurt!!!! Lol the guy said I did really well and held still and didn't cry. The minute I walked in he said I looked pale as a ghost and a deer caught in headlights...lol. I don't think I will ever get another one, but everyone said I will change my mind but. It hurt pretty bad afterwards and I even got a migraine cause I stressed myself out so much. I came home and pretty much crashed.

Anyway here it is!!!

Really neat one.

My tat is 2 weeks old. I peeled after a few days, but it never scabbed or looked gross (was happy about that).

These tattoos are awesome!!! Last year, when I was diagnosed with cancer and going through chemo, I made a list of things I was going to do in my life if I survived. Some of the things are silly (like never driving over the speed limit again so that I remember at all times to just enjoy life), some are huge (like going to Disneyland Paris which we have already booked for next year). One of the things on my "list" is to get a tattoo. I'm a super conservative accountant on the outside but I've always wanted a tattoo. Fear will no longer hold me back!

This has inspired me. I think it will have to be Tink. Thanks for sharing and posting all of the marvelous pics!!!

Mine feels really tight...i keep putting cocoa butter on it, and have tried other lotions and stuff, but nothing seems to help.I am pretty much figuring it's going to scab...

I made a mental list of things I want to do before I turn 50 (this coming Nov). Among them:

- Get a tatoo - Tink made a permanent landing on the back of my left shoulder this past Sat. Feels fine so far.

- Go for a motorcycle ride. Well that happened while the tatoo bandage was still on. Yup went for a congratulations drink and talked w/a table next to us. One of the gentlemen took me for a ride.

- Go parasailing. DS15 & I did this just a few weeks ago.

- Pet a dolphin. Have the dolphin encounter at living seas booked for my birthday morning

My artist told me Lubriderm and vitamin E oil directly over it, and not to cover it after 2 days. I did this religiously and I never scabbed. I have a Mickey silhouette on the outside of my right calf, about 1/3 up from my ankle. The only part that hurt was the closer the artist got to my shin, since there really isn't much fatty tissue there. It's about 4 inches in diameter, and just a black silhouette outline, but it's my one and only. It looks like this, but just a solid black outline. :earsboy:

People tell me I'll get addicted and get more, but I doubt it for a while. When I was 17, my mom and I planned to get matching Mickey tats for my 18th birthday, but she passed away right before that, so I never did it. Then my DH and I moved 1,000 miles away from "home" to the East Coast and loved it. So I figured new things seem to be working for us. I went for my 28th birthday, and it was a gift from DH. I love it! But it will likely be my only for many years.

It took me over 20 years from the first one to the second one.... Just depends on what you want to do.... I really want two more, but not in a huge hurry

We used Aquaphor (may have it spelled wrong). Worked great. Our tattoos never scabbed -- just peeled.

I got a tattoo of the little guy on my left inner ankle about 8 years ago.

Does any one know of any Tattoo shops near Disney that "Specialize in Disney tatoo's"? I'm looking for one to go to during my next trip.

this is a great thread...i want a tattoo so bad i could scream! i was in miami for july 4 this year and went to miami ink and they were so nice, but they said my idea (caryndiva-my moniker on the back of my foot) was going to look like sh*&. i appreciated his honesty! now that i'm getting married at disney (we're both former cm's) i want a small blue mickey head silhouette somewhere (my something blue, i'm such a nerd, i know...) i also love the 3 fairy godmothers from sleeping beauty and would love them somewhere as well...i'm trying to talk my fiance into getting matching tattoo's with me...i'm not having much luck...i've been begging him for years...

Well I said I would never get another one and all it took was a month. :rotfl: My brother and I went to this Bikes, Blues and Tattoos festival and long story short we were both supposed to get it done together (they are matching) but they could only squeeze me in and he gets his done tomorrow. I am going to try and post a pic later tonight. It's very small and my lower left back/side. It's gaelic and it translates into English as Bonded by blood, forever. It also has a small dragonfly that symbolizes living for today. I LOVE IT!!

Hey I got one of those old married man crushes. It's innocent and I do Love my wife, but hey I'm not dead.

But seriously, very nice work and needless to say, I think you are very pretty.
