Does anyone have any disney tattoos? Does any one know of a really good place to have them done? I want a castle tattoo but it has to be the perfect picture and a really good tattooist to do it! I dont ask for much do i? :rotfl:

I am going to find a link for it. Just give me a little while as I can't remember exactly where it is. ;) (The link, not the tattoo)

I'm going to be getting one, when I can sum up enough courage! I was just talking about it earlier to DM and Gary :thumbsup2

I'm going to get a mickey head on my left wrist :goodvibes

Good luck! Better you than me!

I have never seen the appeal of tattoos myself - even when the lads I joined the army with all went off and got British Bulldogs on their biceps I managed to resist the temptation :lmao:

I must say though that of all the women I know that have tattoos more than half of them have a Tinkerbell. It definitely seems to be a favourite.

If you could get semi permanent ones that lasted 5 years, i would go for it. I just don't know when I have turnd 60 if I will still like the wrinkly Tink on my ankle :rotfl:

You can always get a piercing if you want an opt out clause I suppose (that is not intended for you Kenny)

I do see the appeal in them and would have no problem with it, as I say, if it werent so permanent. I was hopig the OP might post a picture so we can see ;)

Thank you 2Tiggies your so helpful  I want a castle tattoo but it has to be really beautiful just like the real thing :lovestruc

I would love to see a pic of what you eventually decide on. The colours are important with the castle so keep an eye on those.

Where are you planning to have the tattoo? Is it a big one for back/shoulders or something smaller?

Im undecided whether to have a smallish castle on my foot or the inside of my ankle and i have also thought about having it on my back to have more detail but then i wouldnt be able to see it :confused3 i need to find a really good tattooist though that understands it has to be picture perfect and true to disney! I dont want it to look like just any old castle

I have a mickey mouse one on my lower back and love it , will try and post a pic later

Foot tattoos hurt a lot, and you have the added issue of which direction would it face, towards you, or upside down to you, and right side up to everyone else. Personally I would go ankle it is a classic spot, doesn't hurt a ton and you probably will be able to get more detail down there.

I have a quite a lot of tattoos, but I have one behind my ear that is technically Disney. I have a design of a cat with crossbones, that was on Oogie's wheel from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Hi fairycat i like ur user name i love cats! Thanks for the advice i was thinking maybe the ankle would be better everyone ive spoke to with a foot tattoo says it really hurts! :scared1: I have a few tattoos myself but non on any boney areas like the feet

sorry kenny, but i have tink too lol..
i have 3; one on my shoulders, tink across my back and a foot tattoo, which @@@@ hurt lol, i can tell you!
the one on my foot is a water lilly, it represents all the bad times i hvae had in the last few years and was done just after i got out of hospital 2 years ago ( awater lilly grows the debris at the bottom of the pond to flower:cloud9)
please make sure you are very happy with the artist ask to see previous work, make sure you know exactly what you want.
as an aside id say have it somewhere you can "hide" it, some jobs can be funny, i like the i can be sensible and "wild"...most of the kids have seen my foot tattoo when wearing ballet pumps, and some have seen tink when i bend over (she is lying across my waist not low, iykwim) and think its cool to have tattoos you can hide.
i also like that i dont have to look at them if i dont want to lol
good luck

Where abouts do you live?

My main suggestions to people wanting tattoos is to research and find an actual tattoo artist and not just someone who charges a few ££ to trace something onto you. (I have 2 tattoos from guys like that which although OK are certainly not on a par with what a real tattoo artist can do.)

My general rule is, if you don't have to wait at least a month to see the person, then 'you probably aren't going to get the best work.

My favourite UK artist is Saira Hunjan, she has a shop in London called the Family Business and does the most breathtaking art imaginable. Sadly since I learned about her her she has become very popular with people like Kate Moss and Sadie Frost and now spends half her time painting their houses, so the last time I went in to ask about adding some bits to one of my tattoos it was an 8 month waiting list. She does have amazing artists who work and train in her shop though.

Jack and I are now big fans of Into You in Brighton, we love Paula in there, and actually when she was tattooing me I asked about an amazing tattoo she has on her arm and it turns out Saira did it and that she actually trained Saira. :)

She only has a couple of months wait, and we love an excuse for a day in Brighton.

After the wedding I'm going to get a new tattoo on my wrist and will be getting a Hidden mickey as part of the design, so I'll definitely post it when I do. :)

I totally agree all my 5 tattoos are hidden and i love the fact that i have a hidden wild side that no one knows about :rotfl: i just thought about having a foot tattoo or the inside of the ankle because they can be hidden most of the time but i would still be able to look at it as i carn't see any of my others

I live in manchester Im trying to research places that have tattoo artists as you say but i also want to find some one who understands how to do a truely perfect disney tattoo not something that im gona look at and think is nice but its not really disney

I'm seriously considering getting a little tattoo to "commemorate" my ICP this summer - a sort of hidden mickey if you will....:goodvibes

I was planning on getting it done over in Orlando, but will have to do some more research. It's just a thought at the moment.

I'd either like a little Minnie head or the Disney International College Program logo. No bigger than an inch squared mind... :goodvibes

I have a a friend who had one done at Hart and huntington at city walk last year. the tattoo wasn't to my taste but the work itself was really good.

I keep thinking about one but want something that in 10 years I won't look at and go why the hell did I get that

I've drawn up lots of tattoos for friends but can't design something I want myself
