We had them done at a Tat Convention this evening.

Great looking new ink!!!

How many of you, after your first tattoo, got tattoo fever? Lol.

I only had mine for 2-3 months and I'm already wanting another one. My parents would KILL me though lol.

Yep. I have six, but the first five I got in under 18 months. My artist was in Dallas, so when we got the urge, we'd fill the tank, grab some snacks and make the three-hour drive to the studio. Ahh, to be young and impulsive again!! :rotfl:

I see you're a fellow Okie!

:yay: Me, too!!

I'll be heading down that way in Sept. My goddaughter, her mom and I are going to get matching tats. I'm not sure which place she goes to.

Here are the two pictures I am going to have my tattoo based on. The artist is working them into an initial sketch.

I want it to be more like the top one, but I really like some of the color and the hidden mickey planet in the 2nd photo.

I am looking forward to seeing how he puts the ideas together!!

I am so happy I found this thread! I have one tattoo, not Disney, and I have been wanting another one for some time now. I decided I want a Disney one so I have been looking through this thread for ideas. I'm thinking of the D from the Disneyland sign and then have a pair of Mickey ears hanging off the top corner of the D. Thoughts?

That sounds really cute! :thumbsup2

So what did it feel like? I have seen it described as someone scratching a bad sunburn. How would you describe it?

That's a very good description actually. I kind of likened it to getting scratched by the cat. It took about 90 minutes to do mine and it wasn't intolerable. I think it also depends on the location of the body you choose to have tatted.

That was how mine was too. It didn't hurt (mine is on my foot which is supposed to be the most painful), it was just like a constant catscratch. Annoying? Yes. Bearable? Absolutely. Mine was very short though, it only took 10 minutes, but it was already starting to "numb", as in the pain wasn't very noticeable anymore.

My healing was 2 weeks. For the first week it was just a little stingy, like constant stinging. It wasn't too bad though, I ignored it. After and while the scab was falling off it was really itchy.

Hate to ask you all again.
But.........
I'm still looking for some clip-art for my next tat.

Looking for:

Peter pan, Wendy, John and Michael
flying pass Big Ben.

I want to put in on my left arm.
Between my shoulder and elbow.
So I can cover with a short sleeve shirt, if I have to.
