Disney Studios thoughts

Personally, I never visited the stuff that was closing anyway. Well, except High Octane Refreshments

They really haven't closed a whole lot. The car stunt show is closed and I think a couple of other shows but all the rides that were there are still there. The backlot tour closed a while ago, the back streets will be closing to make room for Star Wars but there is still plenty to do there. We don't even ride RRRC or ST and we still find plenty.

While the Park has not had much closed (recently), IMO the "value" of a park visit has been on the decline for years. The lack of investment in the Park (until now) has been disappointing. The attractions have been stale The Great Movie Ride, Indiana Jones as well as others.

Is it worth a visit, sure if you haven't been there or if you have the time to spare. For a repeat visitor (and maybe that's the problem), it is worth 3 FP's and move on.

I'm not a Star Wars fan (though I do enjoy ST). For us, HS has become a 1/2 day or skip park. TOT, ST, RNR and TS (if we have a FP). Too much has been closed (and not yet replaced) to make this a necessary stop for us. We are actually slowing our trips to WDW - too much construction all at the same time.

Great tips! Especially about fighting Darth Vader, will definitely do that. Thank you

The calm before the storm, as they say.

DHS is a shadow of its former self, but once all the expansion and refurbishment is done I imagine it will be amaze-balls. Just have to be patient.
