Disney stroller rental question

Does anyone happen to know how it works if you rent a single stroller from Disney and then decide (later that day) you would like the double? Will they allow you to pay the difference, or would they treat it as a totally different transaction and charge the full amount for the double?

Flame away, I know how old my kids are, but I also know I do not want to handle bickering and unhappiness over a stupid stroller in Disney so I'm trying to plan ahead for different scenarios.

I'm pretty sure they will just let you upgrade for the difference in the prices. No flames - we used a double stroller from Disney until my DD was 7 and her older brother (18 months older) was still enjoying it off and on during that trip!

*I* was sad when we didn't have the stroller anymore and had to carry our stuff!

With a 6 year old though I'd just spring for the double from the start because it's a lot more room.

OMG how can you people even consider putting kids in strollers at that age????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????























































JK- I am going to be in the same boat, traveling with 3 in Dec- 7 (just turned at time of trip) /4/infant.

When you walk upwards of 5 miles in a day, there isn't any young kid that can keep up with that and still be comfortable, even under the best of circumstances. We'll plan on renting a double, and when my oldest needs to rest because of all of the walking, he can do so. Granted, he's 4'7" so it's probably going to result in a few "odd" looks, like "Why is that 5th grader in a stroller? etc etc.

I don't care, as you want the kids to enjoy the vacation, not dread the trek....
