Disney Stores NOT owned by Disney anymore?

I also work for TDS, I have been there for a year now. While the park perks were nice, they weren't the reason why I applied to work there. My Dd loves Disney and especially Mickey! If no one would have purchased the stores and they closed down,, my Dd would be so heartbroken. So, as long as it still says "Disney Store" above the door, I will be happy to stay on and remain a guest

Not the ones hired in the stores in our area after the purchase. Last night, one was on her cell phone having a rather "naughty" conversation (inside the store) with who I would guess was her boyfriend. She saw that I was in earshot and quickly hung up. Shortly thereafter, two other employees (they aren't really cast members anymore, right?) came in to talk about their raises and share their displeasure with them to the same cell-phone wielding employee. The manager didn't seem too concerned about the goings on. Now that store pretty much operates like any other.

That is funny. I don't know why you associate that with the new ownership. I couldn't tell you how many times that cell phones were used in my store. Mostly by cm who have been there for years. As well as one of the biggest culprits of the cell phone happened to be a lead. So it didn't have anything to do with the change. As far as cm complaining on the floor, it happened all the time. I didn't get paid enough, they took away letting us go into the parks, I can't believe they won't let me have suc and such day off, and on and on and on. Funny how disneyfiles overlook the problems when it is Disney but now that it isn't these problems are somehow noticeable. Oh well the store would have closed without the purchase going through. Not some of them, all of them with the exception of the few WOD. I also like the comments I have read on other threads about the quality going down. Of course it is actually stock purchased by Disney before the purchase.
