Lesley, babble along all you want - I know how you feel.

We had originally planned our trip for the second week in June but have to change our dates because my little girl's daycare graduation is going to be that week. I couldn't let her miss that so it looks like we will go a week earlier and get to go to the Pirate and Princess party.

My little girl knows nothing about the party and I plan to let that part be a total surprise. We will go somewhere earlier in the day and I plan to say I forgot something in the room and go back and set up her surprise. I'm thinking about getting a pirate Mickey or princess Minnie (or both) to "present" her invitation to the party and put them next to the dress so that it's all laid out for her to find when we get back to the room. I've even got the perfect card - she had wanted a pirate & princess party for her birthday and then decided on something else. Well, I had already found a musical Pirates b'day card that plays the theme song from the movies (which she loves). It doesn't have anything written on the outside and I think I can cover the birthday message on the inside with a piece of cardstock with an appropriate message and boom - P&P party invite!!

Can you tell I'm excited too? By the way, I found the card at
Walmart for anyone who might like to do the same for their little pirate or princess. They had princess cards too but I don't know how well it will work to cover the birthday message on it. Anywhoo, about the dress - I had hoped to take advantage of the sale the
Disney Store website is having this weekend but I'd really like for her to have the dress she wants and they don't have an Ariel dress. Does anyone have any idea how much the ones at World of Disney cost? I may just go that route. I could have some fun with that too - maybe a Mommy/daughter shopping trip to get dolled up for the party after she gets her invitation?
