Disney Store Has A Great Trip Toy

Disney Store has mini magna doodles that are in the "bellies" of Mickey, Buzz, or Cinderella...I think there may have been others but I just glanced at them quickly. I am going to pick a few up for my kids on our January trip. I think they were $5 or $6. Really cute!

Thanks for the tip, my kids love magna doodles, and ours isn't in great shape anymore. Do you remember how big the screen was (aproximately)?

I saw those at the Disney Store. They are very cute, but are a bit on the small side. The ones I saw had screens about 3" by 1". There may be some that are larger, but I did not see them. Hope this helps....

I thought they were really small. IMHO Also I am almost positive they were $8.00.

Yeah, they are pretty small but that is why I like them for the bag in the parks. We're definitely going to get a few.

What a great idea! I never thought of taking those into the parks! That would definitely keep my DD preoccupied while waiting in line. Thanks for the tip! I can't remember... Did they have a Buzz Lightyear?

I know that the Disney Store ones are in the form of Disney characters. However, I got a Magna Doodle at KMart for only $6 and it is flat - easier to pack, less $, and screen is bigger to draw on. I prefer that by far.

They do have Buzz! The screen is the type of screen I prefer over actual magna doodle screens too. Zainy Brainy has this type of screen on their doodles and they don't get ruined as fast when kids push hard on the "pen". Magna Doodles seem to get ruined so fast when you have a kid who hasn't learned not to push down hard on a writing utensil yet.

DD played with them briefly in the store and had a very tough time getting the pen to reach the Doodle pad.

I'm not sure if you have a Big Lots where you live, but they have magna doodles the size of a greeting card for $1.99. Of course they don't have the Disney characters on them, but the screen is bigger. It is still small enough to put in a bag though. I might buy my DD one of these so she has more area to write on which hopefully means, she keeps busier for a longer period of time while we wait in line.
