Disney Store Canada Tix at PAR

Just an FYI, It may have been posted already, but my wife works at the Disney store here in Halifax. The new pricing has come out and currently the Disney Passes purchased there are at PAR with WDW site. With the Cdn dollar slightly below PAR it makes buying them there currently a good deal!

Do you or your wife have any idea how long the passes might remain at par? I have no idea how the Disney Store issues the passes (i.e. if they update the prices at regular intervals) and I was wondering whether I could wait to purchase the passes as we are not planning to travel until later this summer and I would prefer to have some more time to save up before I buy them.

I had mentioned it to a friend of mine who lives there and he said that when he called, they told him that it was not at par. And they haven't done this in a long time.

I checked on the Disney site when I got home to confirm. They are not selling them at par as a promo, It is just at par if you actually compare the prices to the Disney site. They typically only change ticket prices every 6 months, but if there is a drastic change they may change before that. Remember though that you can buy them and hang onto them until you need them, they will expire 14 days after 1st use only.
