Disney Store big sale tomorrow

OK I've been twice...actually 3 times but only purchased stuff twice....DH was there the second trip....couldn't find anything...yeah right....

I was able to get 5 backpacks, 6 t-shirts, 6 Peter Pan light spinners, 2 tinderbell watches, 6 Peter Pan gliders, 6 star-shaped light up keychains, Eeyore mug, large stuffed Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore for $104 total! And I forgot to get the DVC discount

This will help out SO much when we take our children and grandchildren to WDW after Thanksgiving for our family Christmas
trip!

ok, I'm jealous. By DVC discount you mean disney visa card right? I asked for it at our store, the asst. mgr said no, you already get pts for using it, you don't get any other type of discount! They didn't have most of what everybody else listed at their stores either! They had the girls summer nightgowns, the lightup star adn calculator keychains, the washclothes (but only in 2 boy characters), some small stuffed animals, and some t-shirts and adult sweatjackets. They didn't have any cd's, mugs, light-up spinners, snow globes, etc. They only costumes they had on clearance were the Goliath bear in xxsmall and xsmall and what I think was a lizzy mcgure. It had sequined pants and a sequined sleeveless top. They had a few backpacks and lunchboxes. I asked if they had other things on sale earlier and was told no.

Like I posted earlier, I got a great deal on a Lizzie McGuire jacket for dd--$5.40. However, I have to admit how jealous I am of all the bargains I've read about here. I could run back and stock up on gifts for our upcoming December trip for our kids, however, I've blown my gift budget for the month. I sent a $100 flower arrangement to my Aunt today, and haven't heard anything, not even a phone call! We're on a flat rate, so usually when she calls I return the call so its not on her bill. It wouldn't even cost her a few cents to call me. I know the flowers got there because there's a FedEx tracking number. I guess I'm just venting all over this board today, but I'm so p***** off over those flowers. Its not the first time my gifts have not been acknowledged or thanked, but its now the last. If a person can't even bother saying "Thank You", then they don't need any more gifts from me. The Disney sale really upsets me because I could have bought so many nice things for my own kids. Well, perhaps there will be another sale before our trip. From now on, our gift money will be spent on us. At least I know its appreciated!

Well I had decided that I was going back today and stock up for x-mas gifts now that i have been selfish and stocked up for DD and me and a little thing like Hurricane Jeane ruined all my plans. The mall is closed. Maybe tomorrow.

I got a lot of stuff too!!!! I got myself 3 t-shirts, my DH a t-shirt, my son 2 sets of pajames (these weren't as cheap), 3 t-shirts for my son and an antenna ball. The best thing I got was a snow globe that was regularly $78, but marked down to $39, but then 50% off so it was $20! I hadn't planned on getting another globe, but that was a deal!

They had tons of backpacks and lunchboxes but I didn't get any.

We were going to the Disney Store today anyway, but thanks for the heads up about the sale!!

After reading this thread yesterday I convinced DH we needed to go. Our stores (we have 2 in the area) never have too much of anything to begin with. So, I wasn't really sure if they'd have anything.

We did get:
1 princess nightgown
1 Princess tee
1 Stitch Tee
1 Grumpy Mug


Throw in a Rollie Ollie Ball that was full price and the Princess cheerleading fall jacket for $29.99 and I only spent $69.86. Not too bad considering the jacket and ball were well over 1/2.

DVC refers to the Disney Vacation Club not the Disney Visa Card. Members of the Vacation Club get a 10% discount at the Disney Stores but not the catalog or online. Hope this clears things up.

I went to my local DS last night and looked around. I was sooo tempted to buy some stuff, but I'm saving for my Dec. Trip.

They DID have a really cool Mickey Halloween shirt that I would have bought except they did not have any left in my size. I would have put it away for next year when I go to MNSSHP.

Maybe if they have any in my size in the other nearby DS I'll get it. I've been "good" lately.

I did get a Mickey ghost antenna topper though.

I got 2 T-shirts for myself (1 long sleeve), 3 T-shirts to DS and a Mickey fall jacket for DS. With the DVC discount it only cost $65.00! They jacket alone was $40.00.

I went yesterday to exchange DD's Jasmine costume - size 6/6x was way too big for her.

They were now 25% off and DD needed the smaller size, so I opted to do a full return and then new purchase. The CM was a bit annoyed but hey it was fair.

I did buy 2 t-shirts(tigger for me, Pirate on DS) and DD an Ariel lunchbox.

I would have loved to get some of the washclothes, but they didn't have any. Our store did not have many things left on clearance.

I really wished I knew someone who needed a lunch box or backpack because that was an excellent deal. If I had any money to spare(bit tight this month) I would have bought a few and then donated them at Christmas.

I was at the Disney store on Thursday and all of the things that were on sale last weekend were not on clearance...BUT, I did hear the manager mention that they need to make room for Christmas stuff and need to "get rid of some stuff"...Maybe another SALE brewing...
