Disney Stamps at Epcot

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? Mark your calendar for April 21 when the set of four "Art of Disney: Romance" stamps will be issued at Epcot in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. to kick off the theme park's annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Characters depicted on the stamps include: Mickey and Minnie, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and Beauty and the Beast. Be sure to bring your camera to take pictures of the family standing in front of specially designed topiaries that portray the Disney characters featured on the new stamps.

There is a picture of the stamps about a third of the way down the page. I tried to copy the picutre of the stamps into this post, but was unable to do it. Maybe someone else can figure it out. I could copy it into Word, but not into here. I love the new stamps though. Maybe I'll plan a trip to Epcot for April 21!

PS: Had anyone heard of the price of stamps going up to 39 cents? It happens on January 8. I didn't realize it until I saw it on their web site.

The USPS have had a couple of other sets out over the last year or so, just for those that didn't know. They are nice aren't they? USPS do a nice job of first day covers and the such like. If you check back a bit closer to the release date, their online store usually has a bunch of nice collectibles.

This is the best set of stamps in the series yet!

I'm sure I'll be buying lots of sheets of these!
