Is Disney Springs just a new name for Downtown Disney? Or is it a whole new place with shops and restaurants?

It's downtown disney's new name.

Same location, same ongoing construction, different name.

It's kind of both. It is the name of the same location that DTS was but they are changing the theme and adding a lot of new stores and restaurants. There is still construction going on but I was there in June and it really wasn't that bad.

Yeah, it is the same physical place, but not really the same as it used to be. This is just the latest transformation of the area. It looks to be really nice when they are done with it, but it's still very under construction at the moment.

Its going from 75 stores and restaurants to 150,so its a major expansion with a new name and theme as well as needed improvents like huge parking garages and a bigger bus depot near the center of the complex.
