Disney Springs Tren-D merchandise

I'm kind of in a jam here and was looking for some suggestions if any can be given. My wife and I just returned from a great anniversary trip to Disney. When we were in Tren-D my wife saw a purse she wanted and figured I would get it for her, but since it was going to be a gift I didn't want her seeing it. When we got back to Old Key West I went to the concierge hoping I could buy the purse and have it shipped home. They couldn't make the purchase but suggested I used the Disney app. When I went to use the app it told me for the Disney Visa discount I would have to call them. So I called them but since it was the weekend they couldn't place the order and a Cast Member would call me back today. The cast member called me about an hour ago and said the item was out of stock. When we were at Tren-D Friday there was a wall of them. I can't imagine they sold out in a weekend, but it is Disney and it is a Haunted Mansion purse so anything is possible. But at the time we were the only people looking at them so again, I can't imagine they went through all of them already. Is there anyway I can call them directly?

I have never had such a hard time giving Disney money. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Was it a Dooney and Bourke purse? Because they're on the Disney Store website, and you shouldn't have to call to get the Disney Visa discount there.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. The one she was looking at wasn't on the site but after reading your post I decided to run a search for the SKU number and the purse came up, but it was sold out!! Again, there was a wall of them when we were just there so I was stunned. So I went back to the app and figured if I could just buy the thing without the discount I would. I found the purse but for some reason it kept rejecting my Disney Visa. So I used my debit card and it went right through. Again, I have never had such a hard time trying to give Disney money.

Regardless I am glad I was able to get it and I guess it goes to show there are items available in the app that may be sold out online.

Glad you got that squared away! I am also a guy who had to scout for that purse for my DW. I don't know how closely you've been following the saga of these Dooney bags, but it's been quite a tale. They've been around for a couple of years, and for the first year these things would disappear from the shelves at the shops, and on-line as quickly as they were made available. They were going for big bucks on Ebay. Last year we finally snagged one for DW at the jewelry shop on Main St. Maybe they're getting scarce again as the holidays approach.
