My trip is next week and the day we arrive will be late afternoon so we only have time for dinner.. We usually do Downtown Disney which I guess is now Disney Springs for dinner on our first night but we've had so many misses on the restaurants there.. What do you guys suggest we go to assuming I can get a reservation?

PS- I don't eat any seafood and these are the restaurants I've already been to: Paradiso 37, Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road, Morimoto (loved this one)

We were pleasantly surprised by House of Blues last trip. Check out their menu- it's pretty varied and should have something for everyone, with big portions and excellent flavors. Service was really good as well. You should be able to get a reservation or even walk up. We were there during Spring Break and people were doing walk ups and not waiting too long.

I really enjoy Boathouse but if the menu isn't looking good to you, no need to force yourself with so many choices. If you're a fan of Mexican food, we loved Frontera Cocina. Another option, depending on your party, is to visit a few favorites, sitting at the bar for drinks and appetizers. Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace side) is another favorite.

Our go to is Raglan Road.
But I would love to try the Boathouse and Chef Smith's Florida Homecoming restaurants.
Have Fun

We enjoyed the Boathouse last week, and House of Blues was surprisingly good when we went 3 years ago. The food at t-Rex was better than I expected, and if the Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs is anything like the one at AK, then I'd recommend going there. I had a STELLAR steak at the RC at AK last week.

I have heard amazing reviews of Rick Bayless's new restaurant Frontera Cochina. That is the one I am most excited for on my trip coming up in 2 weeks. :)

Bongos used to be my go to place. But this recent trip we tried Homecoming and it was amazing. The service, the drinks, the food. Everything about it was great.

What did you try at Homecoming? This is first ADR I have when we go in November and I can't wait!

My mom ordered the BBQ pork with Mac n cheese. I ordered the chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. We split both between us. The pork was pretty good, but the fried chicken was amazing.

Thank you. I am so looking forward to fried chicken and mac & cheese. Another item I want to try is Deviled Eggs.

These are our favourites at Disney Springs (in order):

1. The Boathouse
1a. Paddlefish (awaiting to see how it is after rebranding of Fultons)
2. Morimoto's
3. Homecoming Kitchen
4. Raglan Road
5. House of Blues
6. STK
7. Blaze Pizza
8. D-Luxe Burger
9. Frontera Cocina
10. Rainforest Cafe

We ate at Homecoming and loved it. There are so many good choices now.

I love deviled eggs but was disappointed. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything special. The bacon was a nice touch, and they had a ton of filling. However, it just wasn't terribly flavorful. I like mustard, especially whole grain, sweet relish, curry, or Spanish paprika in mine though. We had the Jaspar board, which was excellent. The pimento cheese hushpuppies were good, mainly because of the sauce; they didn't really have a distinct taste of pimento cheese. The cocktails were excellent and so was the shine cake.

Thank you for your insight on the deviled egg. I was wondering if there's anything special about the eggs. I am kind of worried that 6 eggs might be too much for 2 of us. I really want to order Jaspar board but I'm not sure if my son will like it since he doesn't like ham. It looks so good though. I guess I have to think more if I should order deviled eggs.

I don't like ham at all. I don't even usually like proscuitto. The only ham that I have ever really liked is incredibly high quality Jamon Iberico. However, the shaved ham was phenomenal. The sausage and nuts were good too. The pickles and pimento cheese were very good. I wouldn't think twice about ordering the Jaspar board again. I liked the deviled eggs, but after ordering them once, I wouldn't get them again, unless I hear that they changed. I heard on the podcast that the fried green tomatoes were excellent. I would get the hush puppies again though.

We ate at Paradiso 37 in July and it was really good.... My wife who's very picky said to me in the middle of the meal " I would come here again"....lol she rarely does that
