Disney Springs Restaurant Decisions

Trying to decide on a restaurant-maybe between Homecomin and Raglan Road for a group of 9 (teens and adults) Thanks for any advice and input

I've heard great things about Homecomin', but I personally can VERY highly recommend Raglan Road. We had a wonderful time there last March. Amazing food, great atmosphere, just a really great place to be. it's one of our most anticipated places to return to on our next trip! If you have a choice, try to go on a night when they have the entertainment. The bands that play are great and add a really great vibe to the place. Can't recommend it enough.

Another vote for Raglan Road. I had the most amazing pork chop there last month, and of course the bread and butter pudding is to die for. It's always one of our must eats.

Raglan Road has live bands and dancers every night

We first went to Raglan Road during its soft opening many years ago. In those early years there was one band and they played 5 nights a week. The other 2 nights was a single gentleman who played the piano and sang. There was one Irish step dancer and she danced on the table/stage in the middle of the main dining room.
We loved it and it was the only venue we went to Every year.
2 years ago we were so disappointed that we have not returned. We were 3 adults. Each of our meals were awful. The band was the worst we have seen and our server was rude.
Maybe we will try it again. But now with all the really great restaurants in DS I sadly can not recommend it.

Haven't been to homecomings, so can't comment on that. Raglan Road is a lot of fun. If you go late afternoon or evening, the bands are playing and the dancers are there. Just a great time. If you are looking for a quiet place to talk, this is not your place. If you are looking for high energy and fun, its hard to beat.

We've never been to Raglan Road but tried Homecomin for the first time over Christmas. My husband had the famous fried chicken and I had the Art burger and we shared the deviled eggs appetizer. Everything was really good and the service was great!

Raglan Road is a 'Must Do' for us every WDW trip for the reasons already mentioned.

Raglan Road easily. As I have indicated in other posts the only thing I really loved at Homecomings was their deviled eggs ( and I am seriously thinking of stopping their on our next trip and just ordering them).

Homecomin. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. I don't know that we'll ever go back to RR - I had a bad experience with my food and it was just so loud in there we couldn't even carry on a conversation.

I vote against Homecoming. Was not impressed at all. Food was okay but not worth the money or time.

We've done both restaurants, but RR was long ago--in fact I think we were there on its second day open. We've never felt compelled to return but it's certainly a forum favorite around here. We tried Homecomin' just last year and we enjoyed it. I don't know that the fried chicken quite lives up to the level of hype, but it was very good, as was the service.

We did Homecomin’ this September, and were very impressed. There were large tables that accommodated our 6 on the enclosed patio, and the food was really good. Will definitely retract there. Haven’t yet done Raglan Road though.... maybe next trip
