We are going to have a few hours to kill at Disney Springs and aren’t big shoppers. Where are the best places to stop and grab a drink? We are doing brunch at Homecomin’ that morning so won’t really be looking for food. We’ve done Jock Lindsay’s before. Thanks!

The dockside bar at Boathouse is a favorite spot (walk through restaurant all the way out back to the dock). Great view of the amphicars. Wine Bar George is another terrific spot -- tons of different wines you can get even by the ounce. They have quite a few different flights and tasting experiences. And they offer more than wine if you're not a wine lover. Consistently great service at both spots.

I agree with Wine Bar George. Try an Old Fashioned. They were the second best we've ever had. It's hard to beat the original at The Old Fashioned in Madison WI though.

If you're looking for a portable beverage, I can highly recommend the dole whip-based drinks from The Basket at Wine Bar George. I had one with lime dole whip and it absolutely hit the spot while shopping around Springs. I believe they do a riff on an old fashioned with orange dole whip as well, but that tends to be seasonal.

You'll love brunch at Homecomin. We just did that a week or so ago.

We ordered the biscuits and then DH and I split the Fried Chicken & Donuts. We upgraded to 2 breasts ($3.00 extra). They split the meal onto two plates, which was nice. We each had a donut, huge pice of chicken (I couldn't finish mine) and two pieces of bacon. It was more than enough food for us. I got a peach mimosa and DH got the sangria. He said it was the best sangria he's ever had. My mimosa was delicious as well!

The Edison has a bar which is a must stop for us on every trip. My hubby is a cocktail snob :0) and really enjoys the bar here. Note that we always visit after 3pm because the caliber of the bartender seems to really improve after this shift change!
