Disney Springs Dining

I am hoping someone who has already visited can help with this question. With the parks closing earlier, we were planning on some dinners in Disney Springs after the parks close. We are staying offsite (first time) and I am confused on transportation. If we go to T-Rex or even Rainforest Cafe (technically out of the park) for dinner after the park closes, how do I get back to my car? I am new to driving around Orlando, so I still have a lot of research to do on things like where to park.

I'm assuming you will drive your car from the park once you leave to Disney Springs, right? Parking at DS is very easy (parking garages). The temp check is done inside the garage before you enter DS.

Just note that DS has been closing to capacity some, esp on weekends. A dining reservation does not guarantee admittance. It's also been very crowded in the evenings... you may want to have some off-site backup plans in place (often easier and cheaper!).
