Hey

I just wondered which Disney song from the rides or films either drives you nuts or you find yourself constantly singing all day after you hear it lol :goodvibes

It doesn't drive me crazy, but when I hear something about Canada on the news or I read something about Canada, the song from the O Canada movie runs through my head.

Canada, my Canada . . . . :earsboy:

"One Little Spark" and IASW drive me crazy.

I love POC, HM, and Golden Dreams (American Adventure)

"Walking right down the middle of Main Street USA" from the Main Street Trolley Dancers!! Love it!!!

I keep humming....singing to myself without realizing: Zippidy DoohDah. Laughing place, and How do you do.... Why must splash mountain be my favorite ride!

"One Little Spark"

I love this it reminds me of when my brother and I were kids and our first trip to Disney - when Epcot first opened with Figment - My brother still has the stuffed Figment from 198????? - never mind :rotfl:

"...there's no better way to start. Think of Christmas, Think of Snow, Think of something, off we go....like reindeer in the sky" oh, you know the rest! :rolleyes1

Obviously, like many people I am sure, IASW drives me NUTS. But, I love the ride, so I suffer through it for the rest of the day (or maybe everyone else in ym group suffers because they have to listen to me sing it).
As fas as one I love, well, "Zippidy Doo Dah" is a good one and "Grim Grinning Ghosts" is another good one.

I knew IASW would be answer quickly. It's definitely the one that stays in my mind the longest after I hear it - and that makes me happy. Call me a sentimental schmuck but that song preaches to me. If it was up to the innocence of children in this world - the world would be a much more united front. It's after this childhood (most of the time) that bitterness, politics and hatred get in the way and get the world into the shape it's in today. I cry in It's a Small World... Unfortunately when we were there in Feb it was still down for refurb and I can't wait to take my girls on it for the first time. :lovestruc

One that I have a problem getting out of my head is "It's a great big beautiful tomorrow............" from Carousel of Progress. Also the old original "Ima---gin--a--tion, Ima---gin--a--tion" from the first Figment ride. Also a vote for "right down the meddle of main street USA" especially since we saw the dancers do it in July and also in April with the Easter BUnny!

in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room....every time we pass those birds i must sing that.

I vote for "Great big Beautiful Tomorrow" getting stuck in my head but it doesn't annoy me. I was thrilled it was open when we went in August. And we heard that song not only on the ride but 3 times on the ferry. LOL So we all were singing "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day!" lol

On our recent cruise, we sailed with Lyricist/Disney Legend, Richard Sherman. One night he had a show with questions and answers. He noted that many of us probably hate him for writing IASW, but he played it anyway. Even the man who wrote it knows how it drives people crazy. :teeth: FWIW, I like it. ;)

He also wrote some other songs I see here, the Tiki Bird music, and Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. ;)

I have to agree with Main Street, USA, and Imagination from Epcot. For those of us that love all the music and shows, it is sad that so much is gone. Latest word is that Tarzan Rocks is leaving in Jan 2006. Being replaced by Nemo. Now, I like Nemo, but not all visitors are 6. How about they revive the Shows, with the songs you just can't stop singing. More of the Main Street Trolley Dancer type of stuff. :cool1:

I totally forgot about that one - now it's going to be stuck in my head all day!! When I think of that song, I can't help but picture the dog too! :rotfl2:
"Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates life for me......" pirate:

but I love the song "He Mele No Lilo" from Lilo and Stitch. I put it on a cd of Disney songs for my daughter's birthday (today- she's 9..I can't believe it!!!) and I keep playing it over and over. I love listeing to it and reading the translation to the words. It's just so pretty. I would love to learn the dance to it. :Pinkbounc :flower:

"Poor Unfortunate Souls" from 'The Little Mermaid'. I just don't like that song. Every time I hear it (which is fairly often, as that's my daughter's favorite movie), I can't get it out of my head for a few days after.

I've even called in the heavy artillery - Smashing Pumpkins, Velvet Revolver, System of a Down, etc. - usually turn my brain to mush (but in a *good* way) but usually don't work their magic until "Poor Unfortunate Souls" works its way out naturally, in its own time... :hourglass :confused3

My favorite (non-fireworks) music is the Jammin' Jungle Parade - no matter how bad the day, it can make it better!!

I know its not a ride, but for weeks I will hear the monorail voice telling me to "Please stand clear of the door, por favor mantganse allejaro de las puertas" (please forgive my spelling in spanish!)
I have not been to WDW in almost 6 years :earseek: and I can still hear that voice, clear as a whistle in my mind...
