I just returned home from Halifax with a stop at The Disney Store. They had snowglobes marked down to just 49.00 from $114.00! They are beautiful. You also received a free Tinker Bell Bracelet worth $35.00 if you spend $75. They had girls Tinker Bell comforters with netting for just 23.00...

These are great bargains for those collecting or looking for nice gifts!

Oh...I'll have to try to fit in a trip next weekend! Hopefully, they will still be on sale. Last fall in the Halifax store I got a beautiful castle snowglobe (with tink flying around the top) for $50 and it had been $149. I started collecting Disney snow globes a few years ago and I just love them.

We just returned from Disney on Monday and I didn't buy any this trip (on purpose). I had to "not notice" the fact that my husband and kids were checking them out in all the shops and being very secretive in unpacking our luggage. I think I can guess what I'm getting for Mother's Day!! Can't wait!

I hope you get your globe for Mother's Day!

I bought the snowglobe " Cinderella running from the ball" On the top of the Castle stairs there is the Castle and Prince Charming waving her back. The globe lights up the castle in a beautiful blue with blowing glitter. Half way down the stairs is the glass slipper in a small glass ball that lites up blue. Cinderella is at the bottom of the stair and the carriage is awaiting her! The song it plays is: "Cinderella's Dream of the Ball"

The second globe was "Peter Pan" it has Peter Pan sitting over the gable of the children's room with Wendy flying up to Peterpan. In the window of the children's room you see the boys flying. The room lites up and blow glitter too.
The tune for Peter Pan is : " You can fly. You Can Fly, You Can fly".

Anne, at the Disney store told me they are the two best selling. She has a daughter who is currently working at the Canadian PAvillion in Epcot. Very interesting to listen too!

Thanks Charleyann. I did get two new snowglobes! One is Mickey holding a globe with the four park symbols (castle, tree of life, Epcot ball and Sorcerer's hat) and the other is Sorcerer Mickey looking at a trunk with a globe containing Steamboat Willie. They are both beautiful! I also got a lovely desk clock with an office Mickey looking exhausted--it's definitely me!

Yours sound beautiful as well! Aren't we lucky to be collecting such fun things? They are definitely my favorite Disney souvenirs.

Oh my gosh, I love sorcerer Mickey. I looked for one at the Disney Store. Couldn't find one...

My DS has to go to go back to IWK for a checkup in two weeks. I hope there are more for sale!

We don't have a Disney store in Fredericton, so everytimes we go to IWK we go!
