Disney Slow Cooker question

I loooove my Disney Slow Cooker but recently the inside part broke I want to replace it and wanted to know if this work? It's the same size that the old one was. I bought mine from Hot Topic though and not from Crock Pot.

Is this an issue with the crockpot? Because if so maybe they are willing to replace the inside from where you bought it. I would check first and see if there are issues. I know there is a recall with cuisine food processesor and on the recall list due to the blade.

Who makes the Disney one? Can you just see if they sell the inside? Obviously Crock Pot sells inserts for their products, I would think other companies would too.

I got it from Hot Topic and there's no way to replace it, as far as I know. I no longer have the receipt and the Disney Slow Cooker is the only one they sell.

I Googled "Disney Slow Cooker" and got several hits. It looks like it is a TRU appliance. Does it at TRU on any of the parts? If so, see if you can get a replacement part from their website.

I don't mean Hot Topic will replace it, but I'm quite sure Hot Topic did not manufacture it. There must be some sort of manufacturer name on the bottom or something. That's who you would contact for buying a replacement part.

Amazon lists Disney as the manufacturer.

OP, are you sure that insert will fit? The description says it's six quarts, but every place I found the slow cooker online indicates its a seven quart.

I would worry in general of replacing one part from another manufacturer anyway. What if it's not tempered for the right temp or heating element layout??
