Wonder if he meant more entering and exiting the stations vs the actual cars .... b/c they could have people exit the gondolas and exit the stations on one side and then the cars come around the wheel and the people enter them coming in from the other side of the station, even though still same side of the actual cars
In the podcast they clearly liken the loading and unloading to the monorail where you have doors on either side, but I think this what just Jim misinterpreting what his source said. What you describe is how they would work, people unload on one side of the station and load on the other.
