Disney shuttle question

Quick question about the Disney shuttle leaving LAX. I know they leave roughly every hour so you don't need a reservation. My question is, if you pay upon arrival is it cash only or can they take credit/debit when you board? I rarely if ever keep cash on me so I just need to know if I need to make a quick side trip to an ATM before the wife and I leave in the morning.

The Disneyland Express takes credit cards when they get to the DLH (the big colourful busses). I'm not sure about other shuttles, though I'd be surprised if they didn't.

This is a great question and one I was thinking about too...we won't be staying on property though so I wonder if that is still the case.

From memory (2009) they stop at the DLH first, settle up all payments, and then continue on to each hotel around DL. I think the Disney hotels are first (and I remember feeling like they stopped at the HOJOs last).
