Hello All,

I hope this is the proper place to post I could not find either a true general section about Disney or a shopping section about Disney!

I am new to the boards but I have been to Disney many times in the past. My Christmas gift to the gf this year was a trip to Disney this May; it will be her first time there and my first time staying at Disney. I selected the POR resort.

I do have two Quick Questions;

I noticed online that there is merchandise that can be custom ordered. Unfortunately with me living in Canada, I cannot order custom product and have them shipped to Canada. Are the same products online available in Down Town Disney? I was looking at the custom ipod and cell phone skins!

Also what are some magical and unique Disney experiences I can show the gf on her first trip to DW

I wish that I could help you but I haven't looked for the ipod or cellphone skins. When you go to Disneyworld, take a trip to Downtown Disney. There's a huge store called World of Disney. If anyplace has those items, that would be it.

Take your gf to the beach one night at the Poly to see the fireworks.

Stroll along the Boardwalk at night to see the acts.

If you do go to Downtown Disney, take the boat from your resort.

There's a quiet little place above the Japanese pavilion where you could have a quiet picnic lunch.

I don't think you can get personalized ipod skins at downtown disney... not that I noticed earlier this month when we were there. Do you have a friend in the US who could take delivery of your order and then re-mail it for you? As a fellow Canadian, that's what I do when I order online... or, maybe someone knows if its possible to have them mailed to your hotel, when its closer to the time you are going?
