EXCLUSIVE: Ganni and Disney Reveal First Collaboration Starring Daisy Duck
The capsule collection marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership.

Ganni and Disney have joined forces for the first time with a capsule collection launching on Thursday.

The collaboration channels Ganni’s playful aesthetic with Disney’s Daisy Duck as its muse. Her bow and animated personality are depicted through prints and details that merge nostalgia with the brand’s signature codes, including leopard patterns, Buckle Ballerinas and Western boots. The line spans ready-to-wear pieces such as knitwear, jersey tops and denim, as well as accessories like canvas totes and variations of the Bou bag.

New ‘Find Merchandise’ Feature Now Testing in My Disney Experience App

A new feature is now testing in the My Disney Experience app that should make it easier for guests to find merchandise around Walt Disney World. The new feature is called “Find Merchandise”, and it allows guests to search for specific items to see which stores will carry the merchandise and if a specific item is in stock. Here’s a look!

Find Merchandise Feature Now Testing in My Disney Experience App

Guests can find Find Merchandise by scrolling down on the My Disney Experience app homepage and clicking “Try It Out”. As noted on the homepage, the feature is currently under testing, so it’s possible that not every guest will be able to see the functionality at this time. We were able to check it out, so I’ve included screenshots of the process below!

In the screenshots below, we can see the process of searching for an item. After clicking “Try It Out”, we’re taken to the main Find Merchandise search page. From here, you can either type in a search term for a specific item, check out the top products, or see what search terms are trending. We tapped on “Holiday” and were brought to a results page showing 109 items.

We decided that the Christmas Santa Mickey Sweater caught our eye, so we tapped on that search result. From there, we were able to narrow our search by size, and then taken to a results page that informed us that the item was in stock, in our size, at the World of Disney store in Disney Springs.

Given that the feature is new, we weren’t able to find anything that was listed as out of stock, but I’m sure that’ll change as the weeks go on.

Right now, the Find Merchandise feature is limited to just the World of Disney store at Disney Springs. It would stand to reason that Walt Disney World would like to roll out this feature to stores across the theme parks, resorts, and other Disney Springs locations in the future.

It will be interesting to see if Disney can keep the stock data fresh and if there will be a quick rollout to other shops. Right now, it’s unclear how long this feature will be in testing or what’s next in the rollout plan for the feature.

When we tested the Find Merchandise feature during the limited test this morning, it was snappy and easy to navigate.

This will be so helpful as sometimes I will see a shirt that I like, but not in my size. Finding additional sizes has always been a challenge. I hope they can turn this into a robust system covering all shops property-wide!

This is great! I was so sad when Disney shut down the Shop Parks app that had this same functionality. Now if only we can get ship to our resort back when we find something 🤞
