Disney Senior Citizens

We will be going to Disney in February 2011. We have been many times with kids, but this time it is just the wife and I. I will be 66 on our next visit. I have a standing agreement with my wife that I have to make at least one Disney trip a year. She doesn't enjoy WDW as much as I do, but goes along anyway. If only my feet didn't hurt so much I would enjoy it even more. I have always been fascinated with Disney and think it is the best vacation spot in the US.
Talking about your feet hurting. I have has two knee surgeries so walking is hard sometimes. I have rented a ECV from Buena Vista Scooters in the past. They will have it delivered to your hotel and also pick it up there when your finished. The reason I like renting off the property is so I can take it to my room each day and charge it up for the next day. Makes me a happy person

My husband and I both have some mobility problems. I had double knee replacements and my husband has some nerve problems in his legs. He rents a scooter from Walker Mobility and it is a life saver. I do not have to worry about him getting around. We can enjoy the WDW. We are going on the Disney Panama Canal cruise and at the end we are spending a few days at Disneyland. I already ordered a scooter for him. If you have walking problems don't hesitate get a scooter. They are really easy to use.
