"Disney" screen names -- how did yours come about?

Mines is very simple. I have two kids-a daughter and a step-son, so I choose that name.

Mine is simple: I love to Scrapbook and I love Disney!!:earsgirl:

I have many, many Disney trips in our Vacation Albums!!

my name is also Nicole Kidman's character in Moulin Rouge,a courtasan named Satine. I'm also a huge fan of the movie:)

Well, many, many years ago (I'm thinking 1996) I signed up with AOL, back when dial up was all there was. I put in various Disney screennames, many of which were rejected because other users already had them. Well, I ended up typing in "Epcot" and it wasn't taken. So, for 8 years now I've been "Epcot" on AIM and AOL. Just about everyone who ever chats with me, especially Disney folk always ask how I got the name. I was just lucky, and early enough to get it! As for "lucky_bunni"... it's kind of an inside thing between me and my BF.

Another funny thing about it is when I actually had the AOL service and had e-mail through them, I would actually get people e-mailing from the computers at Innoventions in Epcot who thought epcot@aol.com was some kind of offical Disney thing. I really got a kick out of knowing that I was actually in contact with someone at WDW in almost real-time!

This is a terrific thread. It's really interesting to see how everyone came up with their names. I started using ORD2KOA when we moved from Chicago to Hawaii.

ORD is the airport code for Chicago's O'Hare airport, and
KOA is the airport code for Keahole airport here on the Big Island.

So, that's how I came up with ORD2KOA.

Not too imaginative, but it works for me.

Aloha,

Nancy

Well, in 2000 my sister and her family, as well as my parents, got to go to WDW with me and my husband. My cousin is a CM at MGM, and he was playing Roger in the Doug Live show (which unfortunately ended not too long after that). :( He was telling us how sometimes groups of adult fans would come to the show on a regular basis, which we thought to be funny. ::yes:: Anyway, my mom thought it would be fun to make a big sign that said "We love you, Roger, so we're moving to Disney World," and hold it up during the performance. Well, he saw us down in the front row and waved to us. He even came offstage and interacted with us during "The Beats" concert. After everyone left the show, the cast all came back out and took a picture with us, holding up the "We love Roger" sign in the back. It was a highlight of the trip for us. Soooooo.............that's why I'm the #1 Doug Live Fan! :wave2:

Hi. I joined the boards last year while planning my 2004 cruise. It was a vacation I had dreamed about. Hence, Dreamer04.

Mine's pretty obvious...it's what I am!!! On aol, it's pixiedusterdi..

Mine's pretty obvious - I love WDW!

The first part is for what I do-the K is for kindergarten:D

I don't remember the other names I tried first, but I do remember they were taken. I don't like adding numbers to my name, so I was trying to come up with something original. Thought of the movie "Bedknobs & Broomsticks" and Bedknobbery seemed better than Broomstickery. ;)

CBRorBust came about because my boyfriend wanted to save money and stay at the All Star Sports. At the time I had heard nothing but "motel 6" comments about any of the All Stars.

So of course I pouted and said I wanted to stay at CBR for at least 2 days on our trip. We compromised, and I got my way!

Now...what I didn't know at that time either is that I was allergic to whatever soap they use to wash their linens at CBR and broke out with a rash all over any part of my body that my nightgown hadn't covered!

Not a happy girl let me tell ya! So ever since then, when we go to WDW I have NO problems staying at ANY of the All Stars! :teeth:

Even after having lost 168 pounds, I still enjoy snacking. Some people build model cars, I snack. My fiancée thought it was cute to call me snacky.

I also have a compulsion to stack dishes when we're at a restaurant. It clears up space on the table, and I always thought it made it easier for the server to clear them.

Hence, I became snackystacky.

Mine's not too tough to figure out:smooth: It's a Jimmy Buffett thing. Fans of Jimmy are called parrotheads. 365= days in a year so I'm a parrothead 365 days a year. My DW goes by parrothead724, 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day. DS goes by lilparrothead. :teeth:

Well, mine, is because I am Canadian (Cdn) and also a Disney fan (DisneyFan), nuff said? LOL!

I just loved the movie Song of the South. I grew up in Picayune Miss. and that movie just brought back a lot of memories for me. I was hoping it would come out on video around the time I originally registered. I wanted to do Briar Rabbit - but of course it was taken. So since I live in Washington State I ending up with Briar Fox - In - WA!

Hmmm...

I'm not too sure if mine needs any explanation. :p

Mine is simple. I have a dd4 and a set of b/g twins (22 months).

Whenever I am out and about with them, everyone always asks about the twins. This makes my dd4 feel left out. So I always make sure to mention that they have a big sister. This lets her know that she is special too! princess:

nsync: I was entirely obsessed with *NSYNC when I first started coming here

raider: my school mascot

17: my birthday is March 17

I don't really like this screen name anymore since I'm definitely not obsessed with *NSYNC anymore. Oh well.
