I have a couple of questions about this Disney savings account. I'm sure they have been asked before so I do apologize in advance. I just cannot find the answers.
1. If I have a goal amount and have weekly automatic deposits, plus I add gift cards as a 1 time contribution, do the automatic deposits stop once I reach my goal? Or does it adjust the weekly deposit?

2. When will I be eligible to cash out for my reward gift cards?
Is it after every 1000 I put on my trip or is it when my trip is paid in full?

I can't answer the first question because there is no way that I would give those clowns open access to my checking account or credit card.

As to the second question, you cannot apply for the bonus until you have SPENT $1K on qualifying purchases. From what I understand, they don't send you the bonus GC until you are close to taking your trip.

Thank you. I have had this open for a while and I've never had an issue with it. It has been much easier that the actual Disney travel company. I had to get refunds on both before and with the savings account it was in my bank within 3 days...with Disney travel it took 6 weeks.
As I understand it, if I spend 5000 on my trip and make payments from my account all year...I will receive the gift cards right before I leave.

Yes it was recent.

I paid a small amount on 09/06 on my package I have booked and that put me over the next $1000 spent in my account. I got an email on 09/09 saying they sent my $20 bonus. I got it in the mail on 09/24.
