Okay, so for Christmas...my parents said I might be able to redesign my room. I want to do it Disney based...but not on one ride or movie or anything. All my furniture is white. I have a sleigh bed...it is really big compared to the room. I have a fairly small room. I also have a white desk and a white dresser. I'm not sure if I can repaint, but as of now I have a black and white kind of feel. I have black with white spots on my walls at the bottom. Then I have trim right above that, and then a small section of striped wallpaper. Then more trim. Then I have a big section of white with silverish kinda floral design... I have a black chandelier and a white fan. Any ideas on what I can do woth the room to "disney-fy" it???

Thanks so much...I know I don't have much to work with but y'all are creative folk, so thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!

Have you considered doing something 101 Dalmatians related? Just an idea, since you mentioned a black and white theme...
One of the simplest ways to make your room a Disney room is to put up Disney posters, which you can buy or even print. Another thing I've done to makeover my room and my basement is to buy (and do, of course) Disney puzzles. When you're done, you can glue them together, and it's a really cool effect! The same kind of thing as a Disney poster, but you still have the fun of doing the puzzle. (You can find them at Target and Meijer)
Have fun! :thumbsup2

With the black and white, I would maybe try silouettes of disney characters around the bottom area of your wall. Paint over the black on the bottom half, and then paint black sillouettes of Simba, Mickey, Peter Pan and Tink, Dumbo, and everyone else!

Oh! I might try that puzzle thing. I don't know if I have a Meijers around her, but I'll check at Target! Thanks soooo much!

Omigosh!! I love that idea. Im confused on how you get the silhouettes though. are u talking about making them or buying them? Sorry. I just get confused easily...

Thanks for both the ideas, y'all! I love em....but I can always use more! (hint hintwink wink jab jab nuff nuff)

Thanks Smoopsie Poo, and to LKDQ, you could paint OR buy them, but I would maybe recommend buying BIG sheets of black paper, and tracing the sillouhettes onto the paper and cutting them out, then you could just tape them to the wall. Some might be tough to draw, but if you take your time and practice, you should be able to accomplish it!
