Disney Rewards Visa Perk Questions

Hi All!

Can anyone tell me if the Disney Character experience perks at Epcot, advertised as part of the rewards for card-members only, is worth it? The website doesn't say which characters are there or if it's worth it to plan on doing it. TIA!

they don't list the characters because it changes from day to day. it'll be some combination of the big 5 Disney characters. for us, it was more worthwhile in the past when you could get a free 5x7 photo. now you just get it electronically. it's still a potentially unique opportunity to get a picture with a couple of the classic characters together.

Edit to clarify: i'm not saying that it'll be 5 characters. some combination of them. i think the most we've ever met with was 3.

The Hollywood Studios location is currently Kylo Ren.

The Epcot location will be one or more of:
Mickey
Minnie
Pluto
Goofy

I think it's usually worth it. Not much of a wait to see some of the fab five. We saw Goofy and Mickey last trip.

Is it worth getting a Disney VISA for? No. If you already have one and want to meet characters anyway, then yes. This is generally a shorter line and you often get to meet multiple characters at once.

I think it is worth mentioning too that the interaction we have received doing this meet and greet has been fantastic! I felt like the characters spent a little more time with us than other meet and greets. We love doing this special meet and greet!

I agree with the amount of time the characters met with us. Could be that they seemed to love our grand daughter. Also each time we have gone there has been no wait which is nice.

Lines are typically short, so we enjoy this perk.

I have used the character photo shoot and I feel it's a nice perk.

You do get some special Disney vacation promos where you get a head start from the general public to book.

There are some restaurant discounts like 10% off.

You do earn reward dollars, too.
