Disney Rewards Cards

Has anyone used their Rewards Card yet? I'm trying to find out where I can use mine, in the parks, and I can't find a listing of restaurants or stores where I can. Can I use it at all fast food, counter type restaurants in WDW? Resorts? What about sit down restaurants? Downtown Disney, restaurants and/or stores? Thanks!

Anyplace that takes the WDW room charge will take the Rewards Card.

I simply put everything on the room charge, then paid off my bill at the front desk with the Rewards Card. It worked very easily, and the CM at the desk knew to give the card back, even though I depleted the balance on it. Regretfully my billing cycle ended the day AFTER I checked out, otherwise I would have had a bunch more Reward Dollars towards my bill. Ah well, good reason to plan another trip, right? LOL!!

In the parks and at the Disney hotels, you'll be able to use your rewards card at any shop or restaurant that takes credit cards (as long as it's a Disney-owned location, which most are). At Downtown Disney, you should ask first - a lot of places take it, but some don't.

You need to have a Disney Visa from Bank One. Your rewards are worth 1% of the amount you charge.

For our trip next year, I was wondering if I could do this....could I charge the room on my Disney Visa, then pay it off ahead of time, then use those extra points towards my trip? If so it seems like a quick way to earn some extra spending money.

Provided all the charges take place at least one billing cycle in advance, it sounds like a great idea!!! I know I earned a good number of points from my last trip to WDW and should have a good number for when I go to DL this July

They definitely add up fast! We bought some new furniture this year, and put it all on the Disney Visa, so between that and everyday stuff, we had $450 towards our meals on our last trip!
