Disney Rewards and Apple Pay

I know you have to "show" your card in places to get your discount with the Disney Visa, but does anyone know if you can you show it through your phone with Apple pay or do you need to have the actual, physical card with you? Thanks!

I am an Apple Pay user also, When I inquired about this with Chase. I was told they needed the actual card present.

Thanks for the reply! That's kind of a bummer. We can go half techie, but not the entire way.
