I heard about the free dining deal coming up.:yay: My question is: My mom has a Disney Rewards Visa, can I use it to book a trip for my family with her permission (of course)? Would I have to present it at check in? Would we have to use it for all purchses made? She would not be with us on the trip. Would this be allowed or not????

Thanks-

The deposit would have to be charged to the Disney Visa; and the balance of the package would have to be charged to that card. When you get to WDW, you can use any card for your room charges.

I don't know if CRO would allow you to give your Mom's CC info or if she would have to call in the reservation, but it's worth a try! The worst that can happen is that you'll have to wait several days until the Free DDP offer goes public. Good luck! ;)

I have read different on these boards

I read that all you have to do is made the deposit on the Disney Visa and then pay your balance any way you like, also i read that you could use someone else's Disney Visa

All this is doing is getting a extra 200.00 per Disney Visa into Disney's pocket, so they should not care who's Disney Visa you use so long its not stolen :rotfl:

Could be - I just figured if they had the CC# from the $200 deposit, they might schedule the balance on that card too. (you know how they "store" your CC number......)

So, as long as they let you charge the deposit - no matter if it's your card or your Mom's - you're IN!!! :woohoo:

Last year I put the down payment on that card, and then put the remaining payments across two cards (I wanted my airline miles and I also got a few American Express gift cards).

OP, you don't have to present it at check in or for any other purchases.

They won't ask questions when the person making the reservations isn't person who's name is on the card?
