Who is there for the meet and greet?

and Also if Dh and i each have a seperate card do we get 2 pictures?

Thanks

Danielle

Normally it is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and DD. It is at 1:00 in the Innovations Building at Epcot. I believe it is 1 per family. We showed them 2 cards, but only got 1 photo. It is worth asking though. Plan on arriving early. As with everything else, lines form early.

We've used it many times...

You can get a coupon for 1 picture for each card #. So, as long as you and your spouse have different card #'s, you can each get a coupon to use on a picture. You can also do it multiple times per trip, but just once per card # each day.

The characters change from time to time and even during the hours the event is open on the same day. Last time, back in 2007, there were 3 characters when we went. This year, we went twice and both times there were only 2. 1 time it was Minnie & Goofy and the 2nd time is was Mickey & Pluto.

Edited to add-

There is a line early, and it starts @ 1:30 and runs until 4:30. The 1st time we went this summer we got there about 20 mins early and were 3rd in line. The second time we got there right at the start and there were probably 10-12 familes, we left as we didnt want to wait. We went back around 3:30 or so and there wasn't a single person in line.

Every time we have gone it is Mickey and Pluto.

You can get a coupon for each card number.

Thanks...dh and i both have seperate cards!!! :) just got them with a HUGE Disney dream dollar bonus on each one!!! :)

what kind of bonus? ... if you don't mind my asking....

We just got an offer...if you signed up for a new card you got $150 reward points. I had one and my Dh did not, so I made him sign up and we get the points after our first purchased is made and paid for. Also I think it takes 6-8 weeks.

just curious, on the meet and greet times, I know the ending is at 4:30pm, but when do I need to get there? Do you have to see the characters by 4:30pm or do I just need to get in line by 4:30pm? I would hate to get in line at 4:20pm, and then wait 10 minutes just to be told that it was over and I need to leave. However, if they just close the line, but still allow guests to have the meet and greet under everyone in line has gone through (even if it has gone 10-15 min past 4:00pm), thats cool. Anyone know?

We just got the offer, signed up and after first purchase, we get 200.00. I plan on being in line for our pic.

The policy at Disney for any autograph or ride line is if you are in line before something closes, you can ride/get autographs. They just stop letting people get in line.

The last time we did this it was Mickey, Pluto, Donald and Goofy. They spent a lot of time with us. Took close to 20 pictures. Was really jard picking out the free one!

So, Is this the Chase Visa Card Offer that has a $49 Annual Fee BUT you get the Free Photo AND a $200 Disney Gift Card?

If it is...Can you use the Gift Card @ restaurants in WDW?

I think I know the answer but would like to hear from you!

Thanks,
:) :) :)

Hello when we went they would NOT give us a 2nd Coupon (you can buy the extra pictures if you choose my MIL did) we also got at least a good 20mins with the Characters which were...Mickey, Minne,Goofy and Donald

Well, by all rights you are entitled to a picture for each card as long as they are different account numbers. That CM was wrong. But I don't know anything about coupons. We took our cards to the 'store' (or whatever you want to call the place where they print the pictures) and showed it to the CM there. I have two different acct numbers, but I chose to only use one because I was asking if I could redeem my free picture for another on our photopass since the meet & greet was closed when we got there. I was willing to acept whatever answer I got. But the CM said sure. I actually got a picture of me with Tink and the CM was excited because she got to play with some of the borders that she said she never really ever gets to use, so she was excited and happy too! LOL Go figure!! So in the end, we both were happy! I could've been greedy and tried to get two, but I was happy that they let me have one. I figured why push my luck. Be thankful for what I did get. I do intend to try very hard to try and get there this time! I have seen Chip and Dale in there and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get pics with them!!! NOW that would make my day. NO, that would make my TRIP!!!! :cool1: Free pics with Chip and Dale!!!!:woohoo:

In January 2011 and December 2008 I got vouchers for free photos using both my Disney Visa and the separate card with my rewards dollars on it. I didn't ask the first time - the Disney employee suggested it as the other card had a separate number for him to write down. If I had been turned down the second time, I would not have blinked an eye.

I have seen 2 or 3 of the Big Five whenever I go. This last trip was the worst character interaction I've ever seen. Hoping it was an off day. Since we had a great time with the characters next door that are open to the public. No line for the big five at 11:30 PM on an Extra Magic Hours night.

We had Minnie and Goofy last week. In early March, we had Pluto and Minnie.

This is for either the Preferred Disney Visa ($49 annual fee) or the regular free Disney Visa. With either card, you can get a $200 enrollment bonus (statement credit or rewards card or some of both) and you can get one free photo each day per card.

And yes, any Disney Gift Card can be used at most restaurants at Disney.
