Disney reward redemption card

We use the Rewards card exclusively for eating & snacking around WDW. The only places we've encountered that wouldn't accep them are the funnel cake stand in America in Epcot's World Showcase, and the kiosks & stands on the Boardwalk.

So do you think all of the hotel restaurants also accept it? Such as BlueZoo and Kourizzo (at the boardwalk)

The Swan & Dolphin restaurants such as Blue Zoo definitely do NOT accept it. I don't know about Kouzzina.

Kouzzina (and every other restaurant in any Disney resort or park) will accept the Rewards card; bluezoo (and all the other restaurants at Swan and Dolphin) will not accept the Rewards card.

i found somewhere on the disney visa rewards website about which places DO take the rewards redemption card. not all do. it was somewhere where a link opens up a pdf if i remember right. i know that as of last time i checked a couple months ago hollywood & vine, coral reef, 50's primetime, pecos bill, sleepy hollow, boardwalk pizza window supposedly did NOT take the card since they are not on the list?

I have used it before at Pecos Bills, so I wonder if that list is curent. I've found very few places Diwney operated that do not take it -- but having said that, I always make sure I have back up payment method handy: room card, cash, and credit card (which I use at S&D, which I agree with PPS does not take Rewards card.).

Computer system glitches do happen.

To get a better list, you might try emailing guest relations or Disney Visa.

I see the list and everywhere you can use it but what if you have most purchases charged to your room for shopping/etc? if you try to use the Visa Redeption Card to pay off the final balance is that possible?

That is how I do it. Charge everything back to the room and then pay off the balance with the rewards card.

The PDF on the Disney Visa site is not all-inclusive. It just gives some examples of places where it is accepted. We use ours everywhere in the World. It's awesome!

I love my Disney Rewards Card  ~ it is like having free money to spend :dance3:

That is how we usually do it too....just make sure you do it before the total your folio out on to your credit card.

This may be a stupid question buy my rewards card has an expiration date of Dec 2011...does that mean I can use it through Dec of 2011 or should I order a new once before my Dec 2011 trip??

i posted this in another thread, but no replies. does anyone know if you can use the redemption card to buy water park tickets at the window? and i heard that if you stay on property, you can get a discount for the tickets? (DH and i are only going to one waterpark so we didn't get the WP&M option on our tickets. plus it's weather dependant...)

Yes, you can use it to buy water park tickets, as well as for food at the water parks. Just be careful with it - DH had ours in his pocket and lost it on a slide! Someone did turn it in, fortunately!

There are no discounts for water park tickets for staying onsite that I am aware of. The one-day ticket is cheaper than the WPFM option, which it sounds like you know already. :goodvibes

I hope it's not limited to that list and like someone said are just examples. We always use ours to pay for the tip. Five of my restaurant choices are not listed.
