disney reward points for dvc dues?

I thought I heard some time ago, that you could use chase disney reward points to pay dvc dues. Is that correct?

I've used Chase Disney reward $ to pay toward my dues two different times.

i'm pretty sure you have to pay your annual fees in one lump sum - rather than monthly - in order to pay with credit card. just FYI.
