Disney Reward Dollars...

I have the Disney Visa and I earned $80 in rewards, so I ordered my rewards card.

The card hasn't come in yet, but once it does what can I do with the cards?

You can do almost anything Disney.

My first rewards were used for meals at WDW.
My second rewards were used for Disney Dollars at my local Disney Store. We used the Disney Dollars for ice cream and drinks around the parks.

You can use them for resort stays, meals, souveniers, items at your local Disney store.

You use it just like a Visa card. We usually get one or two meals out of our rewards.

Can you use the card at counter service places to eat at WDW or just sit down meals. Also the closest disney store to me is 7 hour drive away. I want disney dollars where else can I get them? Oh and can we use this card online?

We had $170 on our Rewards card when we went in Dec. You use it just like a credit card, and your receipt will have your balance on it, so make sure you always keep your last receipt so you know your balance. It was really nice, it paid for a really nice meal at Le Cellier and also a couple of counter service. Plus, all of our souveniers. It was nice, to not come home to more credit card bills.

Your $70 will get you through a nice sitdown meal with all the trimmings for 2. Make a PS at one of the eateries that feature one of the new 50th celebration desserts. YOu can see pictures on the restaurant board.Don't waste it on counter service--splurge. You earned it!!

Basically, any place in WDW/DL that accepts credit cards will accept the rewards card. You can use it for meals, souviners, hotel stays, etc. in WDW. Enjoy!

you can make payments on your resort stay or package with them too. and you can use them for tickets, but only if you have enough to cover the whole transaction. we can't split up the payment method for tickets alone yet. silly system thing.

I usually charge to the room. When I checked out, the cast member deducted the amount on the rewards card and then the remainder was charged to my credit card.

You can buy Disney Dollars at Guest Services with your Rewards card when you get there. Then you can use the Disney Dollars anywhere, including counter service.

As far as I know just the Disney Specific one will accept the rewards.

I believe officially you can't exchange them for DD; as the rules say you can not get cash or "cash equivalent" with the card. Not sure why they are allowing it.

Can I use the Disney Rewards Card to pay off a DMW Meal Plan after I have booked a room Package (Would like to add the Meal Plan on ,and pay for it with disney rewards) ? Thanks for any help you might have. I probably have about 160 reward $$ on it.
