Disney Reward Dollars

I was wondering if anyone had the answer to this?? We have a Disney visa and I have thought about using it for monthly expenses and paying it right back off..if I acure a massive amount of reward dollars are they like a disney GC..meaning will I be able to use them for tips etc. while we are on our trip??

You are correct. It is exactly like a gift card. I was able to get a Disney Visa when they offered the the 200 point opening promotion about a year and half ago. (Which was awesome!!) Anyway, I paid my cable, phone, monthly parking pass, gas, food, and actually any place that will accept it with the credit card. I even paid for the trip on the card. I believe they are still offeriing the 0% financing for card holders. I also paid the balance off every month and by the time we went to Disney, we paid for everything there, including all the tips at restaurants and gifts to bring home from the Rewards Card! It was wonderfull not having any "oh why not, we're on vaction" debt to come home to.

I use the Disney Visa as our only credit card. I bet there are better deals out there, but I like the thought of earning money that I HAVE to spend on Disney!
