Disney Resort Shuttles To Universal?

Do any Disney resorts offer a shuttle to Universal? I know for obvious reasons it's not free and probably not advertised, but I was thinking maybe there are steady Mears transportation shuttles to Universal or something? Anyone know if there is and if so, how much per person?

I don't believe that there is. I think you can find some info on this at allears.net.

You can call Mears and schedule pick up time, they have several options. Couple of years ago I believe it was $14 or &17 per person round trip. Bus will come right to resort, where ME stops. Depending on number of people it may be cheaper to just call cab. Front desk will give you all numbers you need. For Mears you have to do schedule a day before, if I remember correctly.

As we were leaving BLT on Thursday of last week, there was a van outside picking up people to go to Universal. I don't remember the name on the van, but there definitely is one. The driver was asking people coming outside if they were scheduled for Universal.

While staying at WL,We used Tiffany Towncar one year for our group of 8that year. It was cheaper than it wouldve been than when we stayed at POR and used Mears. I thought it was $17 a person r/t . The van from tiffany i think came to $12 p/p.....google tiffany towncar or go to transportation boards. Very useful info there.

There is also a deal for Universal studios that includes transportation !! It was a 1 day both parks plus transportation deal !!We are also looking to do Universal for a day next year and exploring the options !!You would have to do the math for your group to see what is best!!

Where did you find the info about the universal shuttle I guess you could get the info from concierge desk. We are thinking we would like to do that but we were going to check out and stay closer to universal I would prefer staying at Disney if they have a shuttle

If you go to the DreamsUnlimited website they have a special where if you purchase a 1 day/2 park ticket, the transportation from your Disney resort to Universal is taken care of.....

WDW buses do not operate off WDW property.

I will share my experience from last month though. Dd and I were headed to US/IoA for the day...staying at VWL. I booked through Dreams Unlimited..got their pkg that cost about $109 (at the time) that included one day/two park pass, and Mears transportation over and back for each of us. I printed out the confirmation email, and brought it with me to WDW. The day before I wanted to head to US, I called Mears and booked with them...chose my time of departure. I was given the choice of setting up my return time at that time or calling them later in the day (a few hours before we were ready to leave the parks) and get a departure time then. I chose calling when ready to leave.
The shuttle bus showed up right on time. We made a few addtl stops along the way and got to US/IoA about 9:05. When we were ready to leave, about 3ish, I called Mears. They gave me a departure time of 4:15. We headed over to the pick up spot and sat down to wait. They were right on time, we hopped into the van and off we went.

I will be doing this again in Dec with a friend. It works very well.
