Disney Resort Guests to Have Access to Additional Dining Reservations

Will this include the Swolphin hotels?
If you mean do SwanDolphin guests get access to the Disney restaurants I would doubt it, but then again Swan Dolphin get Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefits so it's hard to say until we see a list. If you mean are the restaurants at Swan Dolphin being offered I would really doubt it as they are independent, but I'd think guests would get some help with the Concierge.

I have those questions waiting to be answered… no reply yet.

Thanks for trying. That initial answer is clear as mud.

Realistically, based on the 60+ advantage, these restaurants are already booked by a good percentage of resort guests. If it's just that the system is going to require that x number of the bookings are made by on site guests, it's probably already happening.

There would have to be some other pool, released later, for this to be of real benefit. But, without knowing how and when they'll drop, this is a pretty amorphous, maybe sorta benefit.

The Walt Disney World® Swan Hotel and Walt Disney World® Dolphin Hotel are not owned or operated by Disney and are not included in what you were discussing with earlier in terms of select restaurants setting aside reservations for Guests with a linked Disney owned and operated Resort reservation. Guests of these hotels, however, are able to book reservations for restaurants beginning at 60 days prior to arrival (as early as 5:45 AM ET).

5:45! Haven’t seen that in anything official before

Additional information from the chat…

“What this announcement means is essentially that the named restaurants have set aside availability exclusively for Guests staying in a qualifying Disney-owned/operated Resort that Guests who are not will not see or have access to book.

Being signed into your Disney account with a qualifying Resort reservation linked to your account will automatically enable the dining reservation system to tap into that availability while it remains available to book if all other availability the restaurant has released for non-qualifying Guests has been booked.

There's no special you need to do beyond having a qualifying Resort reservation linked to your Disney account and be signed into the same Disney account when requesting dining reservations.

Again, to be clear, this is not availability that's being set aside for booking once you're at the Resort.”

Thank you!

So no Ohana? We’re staying at the Poly end of Dec.

People are reporting trouble accessing Boma past Dec 13. Makes sense now.

My time to make ADR's was today. I tried to log on a few minutes before 6 and I was able make reservations. I didn't try as early as 545, closer to 555.
Back in April some reservations opened at 5:30 (dessert party) and then most others at 6.

Interesting. Historically dining and resort reservations haven't been tied (i.e. canceling a resort reservation doesn't/didn't cancel your dining ADRs). I wonder if that will change with this.

It’s available for Sunday, which is my check in day. It may be a coincidence but all the restaurants on the list are available on Sunday evening.
Is that Dec 17? I check in Dec 28, so wondering how this will pan out. I was really hoping to get Ohana but that’s oddly not on the list (Steakhouse71 is much easier to get).

Boma is always on our AK day and one of our favorites.

even the ones not located at your resort? great news
Yes, I looked this morning for our upcoming trip, (staying at GF), yet there was some availability (mainly on Sunday’s) for a couple of the mentioned restaurants that I was able to see and book. Didn’t see any Beaches or Chef Mickey’s, but mostly times for Toppolino’s, SH 71 and GF Cafe.

I do see lunch for Steakhouse71 but don’t see anything for Boma or Steakhouse71 dinner. It could be the ADRs weren’t released and just released now. Can you check Ohana?

On the official December thread people who had checkin days that week were reporting nothing available for Boma or Ohana.
