Disney resort for couples, no kids?

Planning a trip to Orlando in March and would love to stay near Downtown Disney. It is only myself and my husband. We will mainly be in town to see spring training baseball games and may only go to one park one day. Any hotel suggestions, right around $100 a night that would be great for a couple with no kids? Thank you.

Even OKW studio rented from an DVC owner would be $110 per night Sun-thurs - and I think most of DVC is sold out.

remember Easter this year is in March.

the two moderates POR and POFQ - are close - but as I say most of March is the week before Easter and Easter week - and it is still definitly Spring Break.

so there will be kids!!!

you might find something in a DD resort - but I think you might have to pay more.

Welcome to the DIS! You might try over at the Orlando hotels for more details about the DTD hotels. March is peak season, so it will be hard to find a Disney resort for $100. You might try Pop Century though. You could luck into a Downtown Disney hotel on Priceline or Hotwire at a good rate if you're willing to take a chance. Good luck, and enjoy your trip!

If you are looking to stay offsite (in a non-disney hotel) you may want to ask this question on the Orlando board. People who read that board know a lot about offsite hotels.

One place you may want to look at is Cypress pointe in lake buena vista. It's not to far from downtown disney (a short drive) and they have good rates on hotelkingdom.com.

I'm sure you can find something, especially earlier in the month.

POR is in that price range, with a code. We love it, and we frequent the quiet pools..less kids
They have a boat to DTD each day, which is convenient and fun.
