Southern California Disney related things to do in LA?

Any suggestions for Disney related things to do in LA (other than Disneyland)? Like El Capitan type of thing
First time in America so planning as much Disney stuff as possible.
Apologies if there are already posts on this- couldn't see anything.

Very limited hours, but you may wish to check out "Walt's Barn."

Not in Los Angeles proper, but maybe check out the exterior of the Walt Disney Company in Burbank, as well as Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale. The only way to get a tour is via a multi-day Adventures by Disney tour.

This might be old, but apparently there was a one-day tour that included a visit to the Walt Disney Studios backlot.

You can dine at the Tam O'Shanter restaurant (http://www.lawrysonline.com/tam-oshanter/general-info) and ask to see Walt's table. Walt and colleagues from the studio used to dine there regularly.
